It used to be a nice place. Now the "park rangers" behave like it's the border, policing the area and being rude to everyone. They chase away people playing soccer, but not softball or those using it to light fireworks or dump trash. Talking about trash, the weekend crowd, many non residents of the area come to host their tournaments and completely trash the place. Bottles, food remnants and plastic debris of all kinds including human waste on occasion litter the ball park, basketball area and children playground. Does it get picked up? No, it is just allowed to pile up, but if you are a resident just strolling by, the rangers and on occasion cops will come and harass you.
