I called 30 minutes ahead to order a few bánh mì for to go and told them I'll be there in 30 minutes. I even came 10 minutes after the given time to give them more time to prepare. I drove from my house, which took 20 minutes, to come pick up the bánh mì. When arrived, I told them that I'm here to pick up the bánh mì. The staff was confused and wasn't even aware of the order except for the girl who took the order on the phone. That was already the first sign. Then, she went to the kitchen and came back telling me that " the kitchen was out of the bánh mì and didn't notify them of the outage." So I told them I called more than 30 minutes ago so it should have been ready even before I arrive. They still said that the kitchen was out of the bánh mì 30 minutes ago and didn't notify them so they didn't know until now. That to me didn't make sense. Once she got my order there should have been a ticket made sent to the kitchen to prepare. If the kitchen didn't have the bánh mì, then once the kitchen saw the order sent they would have said something. That means that either the girl was incompetent to get the order and have it sent to the kitchen or the communication between the kitchen and front staff is incoherent. They didn't even check up on the order to see if the food was done or not. Even if they realized they didn't have the bánh mì, they didn't have the decency to call me that they didn't have the bánh mì before I made the drive wasting my gas and time. You guys need to re-train the staff to properly get and prepare the order or replace a whole new system to have better communication between the kitchen staff and front staff. I do appreciate the guy with glasses trying to help solve the problem and diffuse the situation. Other than that, such incompetent staffs...

I noticed this place under construction several months ago. I thought to myself: hot pot and ice cream. That sounds like a recipe for massive indigestion. Alas, that is not the case, the establishment neither provides hot pot or ice cream. Technically speaking, they have gelato.

The location, is placed within a subdivided former Echerds/CVS, which amusingly is quite a Asian thing to do. They took the drive through portion of the building, where they can do take away orders.

Premises were clean and bright. The rectangular burglar bars sent me back in a fit of nostalgia. It has been at least 30 years since I have seen them.

I was more thirsty than hungry so I went for the C1 (chamomile raspberry tea)($5.95). The place seem to be oriented toward drinks, and from what I saw most purchases were just that.

There are dispensers on the checkout counter for iced tea and water. I believe they are for clearing your palate after eating the gelato. You can help yourself to them regardless of your purchase.

As for the drink itself. I just took it away and while drinking it noticed it was quite concentrated. The tea was strong, and the raspberry part gave some Kool Aid vibes. Then I noticed the cup was FULL of ice. I had to wait quite a while for the ice level to be acceptable.

Overall it is a nice average tea, smoothie shop with the addition of gelato and pastries. I might stop by if I am turning the corner at Wilcrest, but there are so many establishments on that side of the street (Bambu, Tealholic, Zero Degrees to name a few). I will not make a point just to go there, and if I do I will cut the...

Pros: lots of comfortable seating inside and outdoors, extensive menu, helpful employees, clean bathrooms, super delicious food Cons: out of many things

They were out of hot pot ice cream when I went, and despite that they still had plenty of tasty food. I quite enjoyed their #1, iced Vietnamese coffee, cream brulee milk tea, and their black sesame ice cream. The ice cream in particular was intense in a great way; its the best black sesame ice cream I've ever had! Their other flavors were pretty good too (cafe barista, green tea, guava). Service was great. And I really loved sitting outside in their comfy seats while enjoying their ice cream! I would love...

Nice place, good service, kid-friendly! Kids loved the Hot Pot ice cream, fun concept: s’more + cookies + candies + fruits + ice cream. Perfect combination! Highly recommended! We had fun making s’more right on the table, dipping marshmallows into melted chocolate, warm, and not too hot, completely safe for kids (mini camp fire using provided candle to melt chocolate in a tiny bowl, sitting on top of the candle :-))), and eating 6 different ice cream flavors with gummies and cookies… next time we’ll add a few more toppings like sprinkles and nuts. We also tried flan, bread stick, and bacon cheese fries… good snacks and dessert!
