WORST BAGEL I’VE EVER HAD ): — Before I start- I didn’t want to dock the entire business with a one star because although the food was terrible- the staff was kind the entire time and the resolution after a terrible food experience from the GM was acceptable. Being just two weeks old, they’re apparently in their ‘soft-opening’ phase so they’re still working out some kinks. I don’t want to sound like a snob but yes, I’m from NYC- but not once did I walk in here expecting anything even remotely close. This wasn’t even close to a bagel I can make from a supermarket. The wait was ridiculous. Took over half an hour. They were extremely busy so that made me even more excited. Spent about $30 for 3 bagels. Price did not help but I feel it’s reasonable.. if the quality was there. The food came. Everything was cold. We asked for toasted. They didn’t toast it. Hated doing this to a busy small business but had to ask for a remake because well, it wasn’t cheap either. The GM came to speak to us and she was INCREDIBLY sweet and kind along with the rest of the staff. I really really appreciate them despite being so busy but
the food just wasn’t good. They remade it. Waited another 15minutes after I had to ask to make sure we didn’t have to wait another 30. Guess what? Came back out still cold and hard. I don’t know what to say. I really wanted to like this spot and I will give them another shot in a few months and edit this if anything but as it stands- I have no clue who’s reviewing this place 5 stars and walking out happy. I almost felt gaslit because they asked if I was from NYC without even mentioning it. Again- never came with that expectation but I unfortunately could make a better bagel from HEB at the moment. Wishing them nothing but future success but couldn’t do future people disservice from the misconstrued current 5* reviews. Coffee is really good though
but it’s because it’s not from them ): Ultimately - I was offered a refund. Least that could have been done. Would have been a lot worse if even that wasn’t offered. Here’s again to hoping they will improve! Thanks for y’all’s kindness though.

The food at Space Bagel is absolutely delicious, but unfortunately, my experience today was ruined by the rude and rushed attitude of the cashier who assisted me. From the moment I walked in, I felt pressured while trying to decide on my bagel. Instead of giving me a moment, the cashier kept insisting she needed my name immediately. Then, just as I was about to pay, I noticed a sign promoting their white chocolate pistachio mocha, which sounded amazing. I asked if I could switch my regular iced mocha for that one, and instead of helping me, she snapped that I needed to pay for my order first — even though I was clearly asking for a modification. At that point, I decided not to push further and just accepted my original order as it was. I’m attaching my receipt with the date and time as proof. It’s truly a shame when great food is overshadowed by poor customer service. No one should feel rushed or uncomfortable while ordering something they’re looking forward to enjoying.

I live in Cypress but happened to be in the area this AM and searched up some coffee nearby
this was closest. What a find ✹ except now I’m going to have to make the drive way more often bc wow, yum. I was greeted by the numerous employees upon entry despite them hustling and they were all so nice. Patient with me bc I had no idea what to order and helped me make a decision which was to get the smoked salmon bagel 😋 ahhhmazing. Got it on a plain bagel + candied jalapeño cream cheese and I can’t wait to go back to get another đŸ€Ł also got a lavender cortado that hit the spot!! And my most favorite part. After I paid, I saw some treats I’ve literally been dreaming about that fed my childhood nostalgia
essentially altoid sours đŸ˜đŸ€© sooo moral of the story you shouldn’t listen to any of the bad reviews. In the 10 min or less I was there they were popping w/ customers and everyone was in and out. Go!! You won’t regret it 😋 happy find this am.

Mediocre service, misleading pricing, burnt and yet cold bagels. Ordered two bagels, one cinnamon raisin with cream cheese and the other an everything bagel with egg, bacon, and white cheddar. Got charged for a breakfast sandwich price which is over $2 more expensive for them to drown it in sriracha mayo that I didn’t ask for. The everything bagel was well seasoned but was burnt and stale. The bacon and eggs you could tell were both pre cooked and way over done and cold. And of course got American cheese instead of cheddar, which didn’t matter really because everything was drenched in sriracha mayo they decided I wanted. The cinnamon raisin bagel was an atrocity, either they just gave me a regular bagel or they don’t put any cinnamon or raisin in the bagel. Super stale, somehow paper thin and impossible to bite through. Cream cheese was fine. The online order menu says $3.00 for a bagel with cream cheese but I guess in person it was $2.50 for the bagel + $2.25 for the spread which is absurd. Coffee was fine but to top it all off I asked for black coffee and they went ahead and put milk in it. On me for not double checking before I left but figured they could handle that. Not sure if it was just a bad shift but there were multiple people who ordered ahead of me struggling to get their orders, which seems ridiculous since there was more staff than customers. Won’t be going back. If the pricing wasn’t seemingly done to sneak in up charges it might have been ok but the bagels themselves weren’t anything you can’t get from a...

The menu says that the salmon sandwich comes with cream cheese. Description says “+ cream cheese.” So we ordered two as is. We were very disappointed to get home and receive bagels with no cream cheese. Apparently if you want cream cheese it’s an additional $2.25, and you have to tell the cashier. I believe it is deceptive to have their menu description say it comes with cream cheese when it does not. Sandwich was okay. Bagel itself was a bit tough. Service was quick and friendly, although I expect them to tell us cream cheese is not included (although the menu states it is). Environment was nice and relaxing. Would not return strictly due to their menu being deceiving. Also, we spent $50 on two bagel sandwiches and one of their homemade drinks. Drink was great, but pricey.

Response from owner: “Hi Morgan, that is not the case. The price of the cream cheese is included and you can verify this both on our online menu and in house paper menu! You just need to pick the flavor you want. I’m so sorry you were not informed of this during the ordering process.”

I’ve seen other reviews where they were told the cream cheese was additional costs. If this is no longer the case, I shouldn’t have to ask for it. As stated previously, we did see it on the menu, which is why we were disappointed to get home and have a dry bagel. Your...
