Tacos Del Julio — Restaurant in Houston

I was here last Saturday and enjoyed their Caldo Tlalpeño, which is their hot and not-so-spicy stew with vegetables and chicken. It was so GOOD. I was a bit surprised, though, that the manager at that time was friendly enough to sing us a song and to give all of us a hug. He was very friendly. At times I didn't think a manager should be talking so close to me, but I then remembered I told him I was hard-of-hearing. Also, there was a time that my friend sitting next to me (in the picture) didn't understand some videos online of some food being cooked, so the manager was gracious enough to explain to us how that dish was being prepared. All in all we had a great time at this restaurant and we think we're going to keep coming back because the manager at that time (Saturday morning) has lots of talents. We think he might also be able to play a little bit of football (soccer for you yanks) in our team. Maybe he will score a couple goals. Maybe not. BRB, I think someone's hammering outside. Oh my God first time at this location I asked for a burrito and they gave me a large taco with Thin beans watery very small meat very small lettuce like what the hell is this and it’s not even wrapped it’s like a taco. I went back to let them know and they said that that’s what it’s like. Oh my God will not be coming back to this place do not recommend anybody to come here. They could’ve told me that this is what the burrito look like a burrito, dude. Touching all over my food wouldn’t give me my money back and kept on complaining. I told her to call the manager. We walked in as a family and were going to try this place out for the first time . Two of my children took some fries and a drink that they were eating earlier as the rest of us were going to order. While we waited to be given our menus, a guy came and said that the children couldn't have any food or drink from outside and that they must leave. We told him that we were eating there and they obviously couldn't wait outside for us as they are under 12 years old. We got up and left immediately. They definitely don't deserve our business, and neither are they family friendly. WE WILL NEVER COMEBACK!!! Terrible...
