Taqueria Michoacan — Restaurant in Houston

It's actually really good. It's what my brother calls "a little hole in the wall." The food was home made. The salsa was warm and had a the perfect kick to it. The mole is really good, my quesadilla was large and at a great price. Cheesy and delicious. The service was fast and attentive. Over all, it's a great place to get some authentic Mexican/ TexMex food. I just wished it had a fountain machine but that's what I think every restaurant...

Loved the salsa, rice, and beans. Tortillas taste homemade. I got the combo plate and it was seasoned well but the steak was so chewy my jaw hurt after trying to eat a few pieces and I gave up. My fiance had the ranchero steak and the ranchero sauce was probably the best I've ever tasted, but again very, very chewy steak. Cash only and no public restroom. I'd eat there again but steer clear...

When I went there the first time their food was really good and at a good price. This 2nd time around the food was bad and expensive. Not sure if it's because of the pandemic. The quality of their beef fajita meat could be improved.

Don't recommend taking a date...
