Nails by ME — Local services in Houston

I wasn’t going to post a review but honestly I can’t get over the way I was treated 2/14/25. This is the anniversary of my deceased fiancé and all I wanted to do was feel pretty again. I’ve been going here for almost a year and This is the second time I’ve been dismissed for services by the 1 lady I enjoy and heavily tip every visit. They assume I cannot understand Spanish but I act dumb to it because by sight I am black but reality I am actually Honduran. Also I am a nail tech myself I just like supporting other nail techs especially when I find one that I like. It’s was if my money isn’t good enough or I am less than all the other customers they happily greeted. I requested to get my nails and feet done at the same time and I simply said I’ll like to have the first two available girls that can service me at the same time. Brittney said okay(she’s front desk) I sat and sat and sat and watch several ladies come in after me and get serviced BEFORE ME they all got their nails and toes done at the same time. I asked once again can I please get two services done at the same time with the next two available techs. Once again she acknowledged my request and for another hour I sat and watched more females walk in and get services BEFOE ME. Britney and several techs who were available to services me left to go their car so, I saw this young lady I never saw before and asked her was she available to do my feet she said yes. I Believe her name is Ana she was so sweet and nice to me. I told Britney (once she came back) I can no longer get my nails cause I am now pressed for time can someone please just take the FOUR nails I have off. She acknowledged my request and my usual nail tech came looked smiled at me walked away and proceeded to go service someone who had JUST walked in. I didn’t get to remove the 4 nails I had left on my hands. I literally broke down and cried right then there because I felt like I was less than every other Hispanic woman that came in there plus on a day that I lost my Fiancé, but Ana was just so sweet on trying to calm me down the entire time. I informed Britney how I felt and she was very dismissive towards how I felt but gladly swiped my card. 10/10 wouldn’t recommend especially if you’re black. 2/14 is my last time spending a dime there. Customers should be treated EQUALLY and yall don’t do appointments it’s suppose to be FIRST COME...

I’d give 0 stars if I could. Horrible service!!! I came for a full set and pedicure and did not get what I wanted. First of all the sanitation of wasn’t that good. Application was thick and uneven, my nails were crooked, the nails were half glued on, she cut me (I was bleeding), she couldn’t even do a simple design and she had a attitude when I asked her to fix anything. The manager tried to gaslight me about the service and argue with me when I wanted the nails taken off. Then she roughly clipped the nails off while talking in Spanish calling me a liar. I just left after that.

Response: First of all, I only took pictures during the time your worker left for 10 minutes in the middle of doing my nails. Then why would I stay and be serviced by someone who is obviously rough and didn’t want to do it. Then the finger that she cut is now infected. Lastly, she didn’t even finish the set only three nails were done. She had an attitude when I asked her to fix it twice and I didn’t ask her to change it. I asked her to remove it because it wasn’t done right after I asked the manager to help her understand what i was asking for. He proceeded to tell me that “the design on the inspo pic wasn’t right and thats how it’s supposed to be” and tried to argue with me. BYE how you gon tell me...

i saw this place on tiktok and thought I'd give it a try, and i quickly realized i should of left it on tiktok. I have never been in so much pain after a pedicure. During the pedicure i was wincing and said ouch multiple times which the lady was too busy talking to realize how much she was hurting me. she cut the sides of my big toes so low i am in pain still hours after and will probably be having an ingrown later as they grow. She also was so rough it felt as if she was lifting my nail from my skin. she also wiped the gunk she took from under my nail on my foot. I also hate the bow on my nails and she did not even try to clean up the design. I also wanted a jewel on the bow which she grabbed a box of jewels, but did not add them or even tell me why she decided not to add the jewel. She also stopped multiple times during the service to text and take calls. my nails look scratched and bubbly if you look closely at them. No one also let me know the prices and the girl did not respond when i asked for them. Will be taking my business else where once my toes are in less pain.
