Strawberry matcha milk tea, the unknown, matcha milk tea, and passion attraction. Very friendly staff who offered to explain the menu to us because it was our first visit. I loved the option to top off my drink with the base tea because I requested light ice. The sweetness levels were medium and lite. We ordered lite sweetness for all our drinks and that was the perfect amount of sweetness because we don't like our drinks super sugary. The strawberries in the strawberry matcha tasted very fresh and no artificial taste. The longan bits in the unknown are delicious and a unique topping offering that I haven't seen at other boba shops. The shop was very clean inside with limited seating available because it's smaller than the average boba shop. All the drinks were delicious and we will definitely be coming back...

Nut allergy warning: Coffees do have hazelnut.

I came here around 8 PM on a Saturday evening and there was not really a line. I got my drink in about six minutes. Ordered lite sweetness, less ice, and top off with tea.

The Wintermelon milk Tea with honey boba was one of the sweetest drinks I've ever had at less sugar level. I let three friends all try it and it was ridiculously sweet to the point of saying we're basically drinking cream with sugar. The boba tasted like drinking condensed corn syrup. If I ever got dragged back here, I'd definitely order a drink at "None" sugar level. For $8 (with $1 tip) on a smaller drink, I definitely won't be back. It might be one of the only times in my life I could not finish a boba drink and had every single person in my group...

Giving this a generous 2/5, coming from someone who has tried all the boba shops in Bellaire. Maybe it’s just not my cup of tea 🤷🏻‍♀️.

We got a strawberry ecsteasy and an oreo matcha, both of which we requested for half sugar. However, it was extremely(!) sweet, as if extra sugar was added.

The strawberry ecsteasy tasted artificial, in a weird perfume-like way. The matcha, which claims to be ceremonial-grade, was barely present in the drink. It had the slightest tint of green and lacked the aromatics of ceremonial-grade matcha.

We also got the karate chicken (popcorn chicken), which was nearly $9 for a very small portion in comparison to other places selling them. I did, however, liked that they were more bite-sized.

Overall, pretty...

First off BIG welcome to Houston, Tastea! As someone who always makes a stop at Tastea when visiting family in California, I’m thrilled to see them open here in Houston. They’re known for their HUGE cups. Prices are competitive with other nearby spots, but the difference is in the cup size. You get way more for your money here. The drink menu is extensive, but I always go for the fruit teas. They’re super refreshing, especially in this Texas heat. That said, the default sugar level runs a bit high for my taste, so I’d recommend asking for a medium level of sweetness. As for the snacks, flavorful and the perfect complement to their drinks.
