Chợ Tân Bình has become my favorite local supermarket, and I find myself going back every week for its unbeatable combination of fresh produce, authentic ingredients, and friendly atmosphere. This place has a lot of character, with a bustling energy that makes every visit feel like a mini adventure. Whether I’m stocking up on essentials or hunting for something special, Chợ Tân Bình always delivers.
Product Selection: What sets Chợ Tân Bình apart from other supermarkets is its incredible variety of fresh, high-quality ingredients, especially when it comes to Asian and Vietnamese products. The produce section is vibrant and full of seasonal fruits and vegetables—many of which are hard to find at larger chain stores. The herbs are always fresh, and the selection of greens (like cilantro, mint, and basil) is perfect for anyone looking to create authentic dishes at home. They also offer an impressive selection of seafood, meats, and specialty items, including dried goods, noodles, sauces, and spices. I love that I can always count on finding the specific ingredients I need for Vietnamese cooking, and I often discover new things to try.
Atmosphere & Service: The store has a welcoming, neighborhood feel—no frills, just a solid selection of quality products at reasonable prices. The staff is friendly and always ready to help, whether it’s offering advice on where to find something or helping with a special request. It’s not the most polished store, but the warm, community-oriented atmosphere more than makes up for it.
Pricing: Prices are very reasonable, especially considering the freshness and variety of the products. I’ve found that Chợ Tân Bình offers great deals on produce and meats compared to larger supermarkets, and they often have bulk items available at a discount.
Conclusion: Chợ Tân Bình is my go-to supermarket for all my weekly shopping. From its fresh, quality produce to the wide array of international ingredients, it’s the perfect spot for anyone who loves to cook and explore new flavors. The friendly service and great prices only make it better. If you haven’t checked it out yet, I highly recommend giving it a visit—you might just find your new favorite...
Read moreThis market is pretending to be the whole food of vietnamese markets, but without the cleanliness and politeness of staff.
Prices here are almost double what it is at other viet markets. However, the market looks rundown. Isles are extremely narrow. Some food items are even expired.
Veggies are at least fresh, but not justifiable for the prices to be doubled the market down the street.
For the prices, you'd think the staff would be trained to be nice, but they are just like any other vietnamese markets - very rude and disrespectful. The fish markets are staffed with employees that do not seem to understand basic politeness. Meat market employees are also very snarky and pissy at customers.
They do have very fresh pig internal organs for sales. That is usually the only reason I come to this market.
The prepared viet food here also looks really good. A few items are exceptional.
Overall, everytime I come to this market, I...

Today I had such a sweet experience at this market. I have a tiny Pomeranian puppy who is only one month old and so small he can fit in my hand. Since no one was home to watch him and he loves to chew on wires, I had to bring him with me just to buy a piece of meat. I was worried about leaving him in the car because someone could break the window, but the security guard kindly told me it was okay to bring him inside.
He was honestly the kindest person I met today. The cashier at the front was also really pretty and super friendly. She answered everything I asked with a smile.
Their kindness and great service made my day. I will definitely keep coming back to support this...
