Great service! Exceptional food and beautiful decor. Too bad I’m limited to only 5 stars. From the moment I walked in the owner greeted me and was extraordinarily helpful answering any and all of my questions about the different types of donuts. And on that subject, these were the fluffiest most melt in your mouth delectable donuts I think I have had since I moved to Texas. I grew up in New Orleans and it’s pretty hard to beat café DuMond beignets. But I think this place runs a close second if not tied for best breakfast pastries ever. This place has a New York Greenwich Village vibe to it. It’s surprising to find some thing so chic and Ultra modern in a strip center on the outskirts of town. I have no doubt that this place will quickly become a favorite hang out. It is perfect for meeting up with sellers or buyers from Facebook marketplace, offer up, and other e-commerce by local type businesses. The ample parking and well lit dining area make it a safe place for meet ups. While the security monitoring and interior layout guarantee no one is going to get away with trying to snatch your things and run. I would feel safe with my kid coming up here by himself before school. And that says a lot because I’m a very protective parent. This location is wheelchair accessible but more than that it is wheelchair friendly. Everything is easy to reach, and the countertops are at the perfect level, and the leather overstuffed chairs to the right of the entrance are ideal seating with an area next to it to door wheelchair or baby stroller or even a bicycle with ease. I’m telling you, they really have covered every contingency to make each individual client feel comfortable, welcome, and appreciated. I cannot recommend this place high enough that I hope I have done a good enough job at expressing my absolute adoration for this business. Why are you still reading this? You should not read while you’re driving and you better be driving on your way over there otherwise you truly are missing out on a one-of-a-kind experience you deserve to treat yourself to.

I work near this cafe and finally stopped in this morning and I'm so mad that I waited this long! These were the best donuts I've had and they remind me of the donuts my Dad got me as a kid in St. Louis. A simple glaze and an old fashioned, they were sooo good! I live on the South Side and cannot wait until I head back to work on Tuesday to get more of these delectable delights!

What can I say, I came all the way from LA because I heard about the amazing donuts, coffee and atmosphere! You must get the Boudin kolache the bread is sweet with the smoky and spicy flavor of the boudin. 10/10! Omg and the HONEY BUTTER CHICKEN so sweet and buttery! THEY PUT RANDYS DONUT TO SHAME!!! Oh and black owned!!! Can’t wait to come back again!!!!

I do fire safety for a living so I have many well known donuts shops as regular customers. That said, these guys are the cream of the crop. No one, and I mean no one, has better donuts in the business.

From the moment you enter the store you can tell this place is different. He has taken the time to create a warm atmosphere not only in decor but with courteous and engaging staff members.

I prolly eat donuts 3-4 days a week, each time its from a different shop. So I have an idea of what is out there. The Donut Cafe is just on a separate plane when comparing products and atmosphere.

The owner takes great pride in his offerings and it shows up in each and every delicious bite. His cinnamon rolls were almost a work of art. Each bite is to be savored. His Apple Fritters werent hard and crunchy like 99% of fritters generally are. They are the best I have ever had. His cream filled donut was filled with a delicious filling, not the bland substance I so offen encounter in other cream filled donuts offered at other places

I am now excited about trying the rest of his offerings because I know they will set a new standard for quality and deliciousness. If you are in the area stop by. You will be...

I love the atmosphere when you go in. We needed a place like the Donut Cafe. However it is a bit frustrating when you say you open until 1 pm... but when I went there a few times around 12:15 you guys were closed. Not just from me but from neighbors as well. Today 1/30/25 around 8:30 this morning I went for Donuts and coffee at the Donut Cafe spent $31 and change. I figure catch them early they'll be open and the donuts freshly made and hot. The drip coffee loved it but the sausage egg and cheese croissant was made a bit messy and the dozen donuts I got.....I was very disappointed they seem old. They were not fresh or soft they were somewhat hard. It was embarrassing because they were for a meeting. I chose to not serve them because you would have thought I got them yesterday. Very disappointed after spending $30.Felt welcomed upon arrival very...
