Please avoid attending this university for a graduate degree in the MBA program . The staff is very unorganized and unprofessional. The leaders of the graduate department do not assist you towards success. The academic advisors are incompetent and will consistently give you misleading information.
I’m sure that the low cost of tuition will appeal to you, but it’s not worth it if you have to constantly deal with unprofessional people. The MBA program once had potential. I believe that it’s really important that the university reevaluates it’s staff and hires people who truly have a passion to assist scholars on their path to success. I am truly in disbelief that there are coordinators and advisors that are easily confused and pretend to be frustrated. Several people need to be retrained on phone etiquette and how to appropriately respond to emails. I believe that it’s not appropriate to portray poor mannerisms, gestures, and behaviors.
I graduated from this university as an electrical engineer and recruited thousands of students to attend PVAMU.
