Third Base — Restaurant in Houston

We were really excited to come in here for the first time since we live in the neighborhood right behind it and friends had told us good things. Walking in we had high hopes; it appeared to be just the kind of dive bar we enjoy. Unfortunately the service was so bad and so slow we won't be returning. We waited at the bar trying to get change forpool and order more drinks for a long time while the bartender was gossiping. I finally had to stand up and move near her to get her to help us and decided to just close out at the point. I love this bar and am there on average 4 times a week. They have dart boards and 3 pool tables. Things are very clean and I just love Kerrie and Kinsey! Those are my top favorites. Def a homey like atmosphere where a lot of regulars come together and just have fun! No food there but they do popcorn from time and time, and Kerrie usually whips good things up or does a pot luck during big...

Not to bad for a fancy hole in the wall bar. Mostly a older crowd. Everyone hear seems really chill and music isn't loud. Drinks were well priced and bartender was courteous.
