Had 1 job & I spaced.... Having only bills I headed inside to get change 4basket. Thinking my luck has turned around when entering front of store, empty abandoned basket, between bagging counter & registers. I scanned the front of store & at/around register(s), to get help & change 4 a cart...No one. Grab the buggy thinking lucky me//but 5 min into stock piling fav veggies& every variation of cookie on back wall , I hear someone yell out from behind me, "Did u get that basket from the front, up here?///yes I did///well you need to bring it back to front, u can get a basket to use out those doors with a quarter!" Sucked to unload but I kept silent & just brought empty basket to employee who was hollaring at me from register area. To be,,, asked in a condensing tone when handing off basket, "Do you need like change or something?" I responded with yes I would appreciate that very much. I needed change when arriving but had no luck spotting employee threw front of store to snag 4help in getting coins 4basket. They took my $1 bill & proceeded to make change for me alright...handing me it in the form of dimes and nickels... Not a single quarter until I hand back .25 cents worth n asked for a quarter.... What the heck did I do to deserve tht, did I miss an unspoken...
   Read moreBring your own bags and have a quarter handy for getting a cart. Prices are low or at least reasonable for their selections but is the quality still there with such low prices? Example, I bought a simple box of smore flavored poptarts, took one bite and immediantly removed the food from my mouth. Needless to say, it wasn't great. But small children won't complain with junk food places in their hands.
And of course what I noticed at the end of my trip was the cashier. Was I greeted? No. Was I offered assistance with finding anything? No. I was rang up without a word and told my total. I handed my money to the cashier, got my change and receipt, and nothing else was said. No, have a great day, thank you for shopping here. As someone who has worked customer service for the past decade, this was a little bit of a shock and a little disappointing.
Will I return? Sure. But I hope to see some improvement from staff on customer service and relations. Local with plenty of...

A few months ago, we purchased a whole chicken from there and when we went home to cook it, it smelled like a rotten egg! The chicken was not expired according to the label, but it obviously was bad. This past weekend, I bought some beef chuck meat to make tacos. The meat looked nice and red and also was not expired. I was planning on making tacos that exact day, so when I opened the package, it had a terrible smell. I had my husband double check what I was smelling and he also said it stunk. I took the meat back to the store so that the manager could also smell what they are selling to us customers. I will NEVER buy meat from them again. I would like to mention that I also bought some organic shredded cheese from there and we only used it once before we noticed it was moldy. They need to do better and stop putting us at risk of getting a food...
