I got off the flight at gate 49 and my connecting flight is in gate 1 and a 50min layover. I ordered a chicken sandwich here assuming that this place will be fast compared to other food options in the location, but they took forever to get the sandwich to me. My next flight was almost starting to board. I saw another lady coming back with her order because they gave her a different item than what she ordered and they switched her order. Then she came back the second time because they forgot to give her something else. The guy was so confused after her coming back twice and he messed up all the next orders taking a very long time. After long wait, they gave me a packet and then he immediately took it back saying its the wrong item and gave me another pack. I just took it and rushed to my gate. I open the pack to see a double stack cheeseburger instead of chicken. I do not eat beef and I had no time to get back to them and ask for the replacement. Takeaways here: 1. Read moreThis place at Hobby airport terminal should be avoided, if you care about hygiene. Our food in the bag had busted ketchup packets which was smeared all over. The creamer packs also were busted and made a mess all way round. It spilled on my carry on bags. The folks at the counter didn’t bother whatsoever, when they were shown all this mess. They were a bit rude and seemed careless. I really lost my favorable view about Wendy’s in general now. Employees are either underpaid, overworked or the manager at this place has poor standards. The order was entered as a combo, which I didn't want. Had to start the order over because the person at the register didn't know how to remove an item, and I had to correct the person 3 times.
