Wilcrest Pizza Fino — Restaurant in Houston

Not gonna lie, I hate when these people put their fliers on my door, and they do it often, but tonight, their marketing tactic worked on me. I actually threw away the flier on my door, but when I stepped back out to walk my dog, I found another flier sitting on top of a bush, and decided it was fate. Of course I checked the reviews first... And they didn't disappoint. I have paused in the middle of my meal to write this review as to not leave out any details.

I was skeptical to try the pasta as some people said it wasn't the greatest, so I ordered a small, thick crust, white sauce pizza. The crust is possibly the best I've ever tried from a pizza chain. I got sausage, ricotta, basil, and black olives as my (weird) combo, and I loved it. I also got 5 sweet chili wings, and am seriously impressed with the flavor! As a foodie and culinary student, I like to think my palette is up to date, and this stuff is damn good.

I actually ordered online on a third party POS website that had an invalid coupon, and when I realized it wouldn't take it, decided to call the store for clarification. As informed, the website doesn't have correct info on it and I was deeply apologized to for the inconvenience and explained why it was invalid, and directed to a better website to order from in the future. The person I spoke with was very clear and professional in explaining this error, and I could not be upset at the mistake on the third party website's fault.

I am absolutely delighted to have given this place a try, cannot wait to try more, and am proud to say that Pizza Fino is my new primary go-to pizza joint! The food is wonderful, at a great price, and was delivered quickly with professional service. What else is there to ask for? Now, I must resume my delicious meal after getting this off my chest.

UPDATE JUNE 2025: The Pizza is still delicious. Lately, I’ve been disappointed in the quality of the wings though. Today I ordered 5 lemon pepper wings, drums only, extra crispy. I was surprised when I opened my order and only had 2 drumsticks despite the $1.50 upcharge I was charged. I guess I’ll be checking my ordered at pick up from now on.

UPDATE MAY 2025: I still love ordering from this location. The food has stayed consistent in taste and quality. I have recently moved back into the neighborhood, but still in their delivery area. I look forward to being a customer as long as I live nearby. I even used to place orders last year when I was in the area despite living in League City. The quality and taste of the food keeps me coming back. The delivery drivers are quick and very respectful.

The food is great… I’ve tried their pizza, wings, pasta, salads, & calzones. I love that you can get drumsticks only for your wing orders! I even love their cauliflower pizza with Alfredo sauce, grilled chicken, spinach and bell peppers. The customer service from staff is always great whenever I’ve picked up takeout orders....

I've been coming here for more than 10 years. The service has gone down in my opinion. I only come maybe twice a year, give or take a few years that I wasn't coming at all, and my order is super small and simple. A small order of wings and a pizza roll. The young lady that took my order does not listen well. When I placed my order she added things on to my order that I never asked for. When I went to pick the order up I asked for my ranch that should be in the bag, I opened up my order before I asked her. She saw me and says "Its in the bag" I told her its not. So she walked in the back and told the man and he told her its in the bag. I heard her say "She said its not in the bag". He mumbled something else and gave it to her. Why do I have to go threw all this drama over a .50 ranch that I paid for? Now to the food. This was the driest pizza roll I've ever ordered from them. It was lacking cheese and and the topping I ordered. After all this time I just like to stick with some places that I know but this cant be one of them.
