Marco's Pizza — Restaurant in Howell

I am a 68-year-old senior I have bought a lot of pizzas from them over the last few years this one was the worst ever. I asked the guy over the phone when I personally ordered the pizza. How many toppings would it take to totally cover my pizza because I don't like lots of empty space I like a lot of toppings, so I ordered a large two item pizza pepperoni and sausage he said it would only take one extra sausage topping and the pizza would be covered. I sent my daughter with instructions to pick up the pizza and take a look at it and if it looked great, then she could give them a four dollar tip which she did. Upon receiving the pizza and opening it up I couldn't believe my eyes. It literally looked like a combination of large dough pizza with small topping pizza. The toppings were only in the middle. The outer 4 inches of the pizza was totally empty from the crust going towards the middle of the pizza In other words the largest area of the pizza had no toppings on it whatsoever. I've never seen a pizza look so ridiculous. I asked my daughter if she saw this or what being 19 years old I guess she was just too shy to question it. Honestly I don't think she even looked at it.. Every pizza that I have ordered is always a little different some fantastic, good.etc I can live with that, but this was really over the top. When I say I want my pizza covered with toppings that is exactly what I want and pay more for...

First and last time ordering Marcos. Ordered a thin crust Buffalo chicken pizza - said they don’t do Buffalo anymore but could give me a bbq, take off the bacon and put Buffalo sauce on it, it’ll be 25min. Great. Not great. Got there 45min after I called, waited another 20min. Finally said I was quoted 25min, what’s up (totally chill, I understand it’s dinner and they’re busy). Guy was like 2 more min. Drive on the way home, open the box: it’s a regular BBQ pizza covered in bacon. We’re Hindu, we can’t eat pork. Have to give the pizza away. We call, they offer to remake which I can appreciate, but how can I trust you to make my pizza right this time around? Poor service, poor attention to detail. I get your busy, but you print tickets according to what’s ordered, and while standing there my order wasn’t the only order that was screwed up.

Update to owner who replied: I did try to leave feedback per that URL, however unless you’ve got your receipt pin the “guest” option reroutes you to order online, which of course is counter-intuitive, thus leading me to leave a public review.

Update to everyone reading this: they had offered to refund me my pizza which I said yes, and then they didn’t. I disputed on my card because when I called they put me on hold and never picked up. After 10...

We’ve ordered pizza from here a couple times - first pizza was great! We were excited to order again. Second pizza was raw and we weren’t delivered our extras that we paid for. I threw the pizza back in the oven before we could eat it, and We called and they had someone bring our sauces out - and we still received the wrong sauces. That should’ve been it for us - but I like to give the benefit of the doubt so we ordered again. Never. Again. Spending $50 on dinner for your family, you expect to get what you ordered. We were brought a pizza not at all what we ordered, missing toppings, toppings on the wrong side of the pizza, no crust flavorings that were indicated, missing sauces. We called for a replacement, and over an hour later it finally showed up WRONG AGAIN. I worked in a restaurant for several years. I know mistakes happen. That’s why we ordered again - because the food was decent compared to the service. But this business very clearly does not value service or it’s customers. I hate to leave reviews like this, but obviously calling and trying to rectify the problem with the business solved nothing. We will not be ordering from this location - it’s not pleasant waiting 2 hours for dinner and still not having what you ordered...
