Francesco's Pizzeria — Restaurant in Hubbard Township

I recently relocated to Columbus after growing up in the northeast. I am not a fan of “Columbus Style” pizza and it’s difficult to find NY style pizza worth eating anywhere in central OH. I played golf today near Francesco’s and it was recommended that I try it. I walked in after my round and ordered at the counter. The young ladies working could not have been more courteous. I ordered a large pepperoni/extra cheese and a large white pie. The menu says there’s a mixture of hot and mild peppers. I wasn’t sure what to expect as I’ve never seen that on a white pizza before. They actually mince them very finely so that every bite is spicy, salty, garlicky goodness. I was going to get the other pie well done and the young lady making the pizzas said that she didn’t really care for that preparation. I told her that I trusted her judgment and she proceeded to make me two of the best pizzas that I’ve had in recent memory. I hope that they read this review because they made my day and I will definitely be back....

Update: unfortunately i had to take my review down to 2 stars. My boyfriend and I threw up twice after eating their food, this was back in March of 2022. All we know is that we could never catch them open until they updated that they will be open only on certain days of the week. So we order and got so sick. Then we tried it again not knowing it was the reason we were sick the first time, but after the second time it happened again. So we had to say goodbye to this place. And I feel sad because we enjoyed this place.

Love this place!! Never had anything nasty from here. Everything is fresh and good 👍🏽 this is literally the only good food in Hubbard!! They had a few family emergencies and had to close the whole restaurant for a week or so before but that is totally understandable. Ordering again now. UPDATED REVIEW (old one below): We tried the same order again last night on August 7, 2021. Absolutely terrible. The toppings were good but the dough was the worst I've ever had. It was so dry and chewy- like leather. Extremely disappointed. Not sure if it was old dough or what. Will try again in the future, just to make sure it wasn't an off night. In the meantime, changing my review from a 5 to a 3.

LOVE!!!! We just moved to the area 6 months ago and heard about how good the place was. Finally got around to ordering pizza tonight. We ordered the white 14 inch and then the sicilian pepperoni. It was so good! They actually use hot peppers on the white, which you can never find. Other places always use banana peppers, which are not hot. And to top it all off, it came to a reasonable $20! The staff was super helpful and offered to carry the pizza out for me since I was carrying my 9 month daughter. Can't wait to...
