Le Petit Bistro — Restaurant in Hubbard

My husband and I stopped by Le Petit this morning to get iced coffee and food to go. Their iced espresso is soooo good! It is so smooth and delicious! They have homemade cinnamon brown sugar flavoring and was perfect! Not too overwhelming, but just the right amount of sweet. My husband got the roast beef panini and was so delicious and filling. $9.95 for a good sized panini, pickle and kettle potato chips. I have a sensitive stomach and have to be careful trying new foods so I settled for a morning glory muffin that had carrot, apple, raisin and some other flavors, cinnamon maybe? Was so tasty and sat well with my stomach. :) We will be going back and trying other paninis and sandwiches that caught our eye on their menu. I stopped here on my way home back to Hillsboro because I didn’t want the chain coffee, I wanted a local coffee shop. I loved that they had a walk up window outside the little restaurant. I ordered the farmers breakfast sandwich it was minimal but very fresh with good fresh ingredients, egg, bacon cheddar and a dill aioli. Cooked panini style on fresh sourdough. Very tasty. My coffee was next however it took a very long time to receive with which they gave me a gift card for a free drink next time. I got a decaf oat milk pumpkin spice latte and it the was T H E B E S T!!!!! It tasted like fall in a creamy cup of goodness!! This place is a gem! I lived in Hubbard many moons ago and I wish Le Petit was around then! Now I drive from Oregon City here to treat myself on occasion, and my tweenager is an even bigger fan. I have loved everything I've ever ordered (pretty sure I've tried everything) but most of all love the homemade soups. Well, maybe I love the baked goods more. No, the paninis are delish. Then again, the avocado toast & weekend specials have all been awesome.... So hard to pick a favorite. My lattes have always been PERFECT –the house-made syrup flavors are light and the coffee is so smooth and good compared to the burnt beans taste from the chain shop down the road.
