Good grief! - Oh, I just had to find this place. Being that I LOVE Hudson area but not knowledgeable about the entire city it took a moment to find it. It is located at the far end of the "Heartwood Roasters" building if you have trouble finding it. Back to Good Grief & GOOD GRIEF INDEED!
I'm so glad it's a favorite saying of mine, "Charlie Brown" gets the thanks for that. lol I couldn't resist ordering THE Saint Anthony...funny that my hubby often refers to himself as "I AM NOT the finder of LOST things." This beautiful Saint Anthony sandwich was by far THE BEST BREAKFAST SANDWICH I've had the extreme pleasure of eating this entire year. The brioche bun was amazing and the combination of eggs, high end bacon, Tillamook cheddar & some creamy spicy mayo was pure perfection; so much so, I had to savor every bite. But be sure to know I devoured this sandwich to the last bite.
If you travel to this wonderful place, be sure to sit down by the window because it's a great view & take your time enjoying your meal it's really that good. --- 5 * star review for not only delicious food but good service & adorable...
Read moreI visited this restaurant for a soft opening. I met the owner and some employees. They seem friendly and engaging. The interior is freshly redone. I watch them chop up fresh vegetables for some of the burritos and sandwiches. They plan on getting as many vegetables as possible from local farmers when the weather permits. I was not hungry and I am gluten-free so I did not choose to eat anything at this visit. They do have some salad options. they will be getting a website up soon for to go orders. They will be getting free Wi-Fi soon as I said, this is a soft opening. They will not be having a phone landline. I found all this information out from having a conversation with the owner when I visited. they are right next-door to Heartwood Coffee roasters which is amazing coffee. A Great place to get coffee...
Read moreWe recently worked with Good Grief! to bring in breakfast burritos for a work function. I was impressed with how quickly the owner, Jim, responded to my initial email inquiry. I actually worked with Jim's colleague Steve, who was AMAZING. Super nice, super helpful. We texted and spoke several times. We have a staff member who needed something gluten-free, dairy-free, soy-free. Steve created a custom dish just for this staff member, which was DELICIOUS--as were all of the burritos! We ordered some of every variety and our staff loved them all. Steve had them ready and warm for us to pick up, at the time we had requested. I cannot say enough good things about the quality of the food and the wonderful experience I had working with Good Grief! We will absolutely use them again and I highly...
