Service is always friendly and the establishment is clean, but they are about the only things consistently good at Yours Truly Hudson. The ambiance varies depending on where you are seated. The main inside area is just okay, but can be really noisy if you're seated anywhere near the kitchen or dish-cleaning station. We once sat on the screened-in patio, and that was a huge mistake. The mid-morning traffic noise, especially the trucks, made it impossible to have a conversation; not to mention the exhaust fumes from those same loud trucks. We haven't tried the roof seating, but I would avoid any of the outside seating during high traffic times.
Foodwise, we like the Napa Spinach Salad...and the optional grilled chicken or salmon is the perfect addition, but it does bring the price to $17+ and $19+ respectively. It is a nice salad though! But remember to order the single, small roll it comes with because you'll rarely be asked and it won't be served otherwise. We've ventured to try other things on the menu, but we are usually disappointed by the taste, the greasiness, and or the value. Except for entrees, many things do not come with a side, i.e., a $12+, 8oz burger doesn't even come with chips...what? You have to upgrade to get some additional items to make it a real meal. Although, upgrading is less costly than ala carte. And serving sizes are decent to generous!
My husband and I made it a weekly tradition to eat at Yours Truly Hudson and get our healthy Napa Spinach salad. And we would end our good meal with a Buck Sundae...well, until they recently scaled down the size. It used to be a single scoop of vanilla ice cream drizzled with chocolate syrup, topped with whipped cream and sprinkles. It was small but perfect! Now, it's tiny, tiny. I believe they must use a melon scooper to scoop the ice cream. Suffice it to say, Yours Truly Hudson is no longer our weekly traditional restaurant... it's the small things that make...

We turned and left. Get better healthcare or mandatory sick leave for those that shouldn’t be at work with food safety.
Previous Visit
I recently visited Yours Truly Hudson and was thoroughly impressed with the quality and friendliness of the service. The staff were attentive and helpful, and made sure that our dining experience was enjoyable.
The entrees at Yours Truly Hudson were absolutely delicious. I had the chicken parmesan, which was cooked to perfection and had just the right amount of seasoning. My dining companion had the Sunrise Breakfast, which they raved about. The portions were generous and the presentation of the dishes was beautiful.
In addition to the fantastic food, I was also impressed with the new dining room at Yours Truly Hudson. The interior has been recently renovated and has a modern, yet cozy and inviting atmosphere. The decor is tasteful and the seating is comfortable.
One of the standout features of Yours Truly Hudson is the free parking. It can be difficult to find parking in the downtown area, so having free parking available was a huge bonus. The restaurant is also conveniently located close to downtown Hudson, making it easy to walk to other shops and attractions after your meal.
Another thing that I appreciate about Yours Truly Hudson is that they frequently update their menu with seasonal items. This keeps the dining experience fresh and exciting, and ensures that there is always something new and interesting to try.
Overall, I highly recommend Yours Truly Hudson for their quality service, delicious entrees, wonderful new dining room, free parking, and convenient location. I will definitely be returning...
Read moreDecided to try this place after over a year of not going. We had a horrid experience (no exaggeration, like watched my parents get laughed at for being served raw food) and didn’t come back because it put a bad taste in my mouth, and our family originally had gone there almost every weekend for YEARS.
We went today and I had the same waitress that we originally had a very bad experience with a long time ago, and was a little put off by the fact the table next to us was getting an apology for their experience and gift card. Nonetheless, I figured we’d try it again.
I ordered blueberry pancakes that my waitress forgot hadn’t the manager reminded her that my order was incorrect. I waited for my side of hash browns which came out a SOLID brick of overcooked mess. The picture below is after I stabbed it with a fork a bunch of times.
I didn’t say anything and paid for my meal. However after seeing that my side was literally 5.00, I just wanted to possibly have it remade since I really wanted hash browns.
I flagged down the white older male gentleman who seemed to be a manager. He comes to the table and I asked him if he was, he said “sometimes”. I said that I couldn’t eat my hash browns and he asked what was wrong with them….sir they are INEDIBLE. You cannot tell me that hash browns are supposed to look like that lol. He had them remade for me but I’m not sure why the waitress chose to bring them out to the table in the first place.
Moral of the story is: it’s not worth it. The restaurant may look fancy but it’s the same mediocre food, with raised prices? 6.60 for two black coffees is a little strange, especially since places like First Watch have cheaper priced coffee that actually has flavor to it.
For two people, that’s 40.00 of my life that I will...
