Great library! Great selection on books on CD , the business section is super updated , financial newspapers like Wall Street journal , Barons etc . Very clean and quiet place if you would like to seat and read in peace ! Great access to local places to eat just right outside the library , Summer there are plenty of activities as well , post pandemic they are doing their best to try to accommodate everyone and do the best they can . Overall is a five star place to look new books as well , if you are in town or close ! Stop and get a taste of Hudson :) you won’t be disappointed:)

Beautiful library! It also has a fantastic used bookstore. They also host scores of wonderful, free children's programs for all different ages. The staff are always friendly and helpful. It has lots of comfortable seating if you want to read there (both inside and out in the quiet courtyard in the back), as well as tables and also private rooms. There is a cafe inside as well if you need that extra latte and scone!

Gorgeous place, very clean, historic vibe and wonderful variety of books and music. The kids space is positively creative and the architecture is spectacular. The grand, dome-shaped ceiling is breathtaking and I could resist a picture.

I recently became a member of the Hudson library. It was quick and easy to apply, and I was very excited to see the new selections, and a vast array of audiobooks. The Akron/Summit County library can do interlibrary loans, but there are a few local stores that sell good used books. Ebay used to be my favorite place to buy used books. The nordonia hills branch library used to have a section of used books, and occasionally holds a bag sale. I've gotten rid of most of my used books, due to dust allergies. My garden planning books come in handy, but I have limited space for overwintering bare root plants. My tulips and glads are chilling in my bottom fridge drawer.. I didn't think to dig up my geraniums and...

Graduate Work impossible in Adult Area!!!!!

As a doctoral student for over two years, I have found this library the worst example of a study area for adults. The librarians upstairs are much more interested in their own conversations and themselves then fostering a library area that aides learners. I am continually APPALLED at the lack of respect for those trying to accomplish any kind of writing. As a resident I frequently have to go to TWINSBURG to accomplish writing. This place is aggravating...
