Jersey Mikes — Restaurant in Hudson

First timer here. We were not super familiar with the menu but we tried hard to look at the menu entirely before ordering. First thing that looked off was the amount of employees. Way too many employees on a dead Sunday night. Might as well be throwing money out the window. Anyway, the people working here were just yelling over each other and we could barely hear what they were saying to us. We had to go to the end of the counter to pay, but we didn't even have our cold subs made yet. The cashier had no idea what we ordered and she wanted us to tell her. I mean, there's definitely enough people working there to bang the subs out and communicate with the cashier to get the corrent order rung up. Afterwards I asked if my daughter's kids meal came with a drink. She said yes. I asked what size? She replies "regular" and apparently we are supposed to reach over and get our own cups too. I then asked if my meal came with a drink, and she said yes. She then proceeded to tell me regular size for my meal as well. After that, I had to go BACK down to the other end of the counter where I started JUST to tell the girl what ingredients I wanted and she was still putting the wrong things on! What places are making people start the sub and pay and go back to making the sub? We finally made it out of that backwards ordering ordeal. Later on as I was looking at the receipt, I noticed that all items we ordered were rung in the same. 🤨 So were we supposed to receive drinks and a side with each?? For the price you'd think yes but clearly we didn't get what we paid for.

I do not recommend this location. I have to imagine that other Jersey Mike locations are run better because these people had no clue. For anyone who has never tried Jersey Mike's before, I would compare it to Quiznos -food and service...

Horrible experience from the employees on the order they fulfilled incorrectly!!! We are Jersey Mikes fans, however, the experience we had with the Hudson store was ridiculous. We ordered on the Jersey Mikes app for delivery. Not through Uber or DoorDash. Our order was delivered, however, the items in the bag were incorrect and 2 items that we paid for were missing. When we called the store and spoke with “the person in charge” (he wouldn’t give us his name) he said that it was Uber fault and we had to contact them. We didn’t order through Uber we ordered through the Jersey Mikes app and our CC was charged to “Jersey Mikes Online” not Uber. We discovered on our order history (on the app) they use DoorDash to deliver their orders when you order through the Jersey Mikes app. The “person in charge” said it’s not their fault. The bag had the correct receipt of all the items we ordered, but the items packed in the bag were not correct. He said he could refund us but then said he couldn’t because it’s Ubers fault. Jersey Mikes employees packed the bag not Uber/ DoorDash! I was willing to bring the bag and food they packed back to the store to show them what we received. He just said there was nothing he could do. He clearly was not the person in charge nor did he care. My husband called back and asked to speak to a manager, he wasn’t able to and the same guy who spoke with me all of a sudden was able to give us a refund, which we are still waiting on. This was my first time here, only my second time for Jersey Mike's overall (neither location is close to home), we had a party of 4 and we all really enjoyed our sandwiches, enough so that we needed to thank the crew and compliment them before leaving. The only thing we thought was weird was the ordering process. Because of the way it's set up we thought we'd have to go to the open portion where there is no plexiglass to order, turned out that we were on the wrong end and had to relocate to the other end where we had to order by talking to someone on the other side of the plexiglass. The plexiglass aside, It wasn't too bothersome, I guess that's just the Jersey Mike's way as you get to see your sandwich being made and can instruct them on exactly how you'd like it done. The buns were fresh and soft and for all of us that's a game changer, it's what makes a sandwich a good sandwich. All of the other ingredients were equally fresh. They have three different size sandwiches you can order, I got the regular which was $9 and was plenty big for me. They had ample seating to eat in as well.
