I will update this review if I go back here and my experience is better. I am not leaving a one star only because it is a new business but the old saying, 'if you don't plan, you're planning to fail' applies very strongly here.
Went here Saturday the 5th around 9 AM or so to grab a couple of bagels with my boyfriend and coffee.
Organization -
Food- 4) the bagel I received appears to have had the cream cheese applied to the bagel while simultaneously being toasted- yuck. I drank all my coffee before we even got our bagels and the table we sat at was dirty. I actually witnessed a man throw his napkin on the floor- yuck.
Cleanliness- 3/5 The trash was overflowing and there were no napkins left
Staff- When I brought the above mentioned issue up to the girl at the counter, she looked at me with a murderous glare and said 'thanks, Ill let them know'.
Which leads back to 'if you don't plan, plan to fail'.
I really hope this business gets its act together. It seems well minded and placed BUT severely disorganized and understaffed.
Suggestion - Everyone in Hudson knows that Amaia is the place to be. There are young folk there into the wee hours.
Why not open a pizza bagel option for your customers who stay out late?
Make some money and who doesn't love delicious pizza bagels.
Good luck...
Read moreWife and I just tried Bagel Factory for the first time after wanting to for some months. We each ordered sausage egg and cheese w/ avocado, she got sesame bagel I got everything bagel. Overall I would agree with majority of reviews, itâs good enough but nothing to write home about. Our bagels were not very flavorful relative to their presentation - my everything bagel was covered with seasoning but definitely lacked the flavor I was expecting. It seems like the egg and sausage are minimally seasoned, my wife had to add salt and pepper and even then it was still bland. Lastly, my wife noticed there was no butter on her bagel. We noticed after the fact that adding butter is an option which is perfect until you see that adding butter costs $4.21! You could buy an entire tub of butter at the store for that!
Overall, itâs not that the bagels were inedible, they just severely lacked in flavor. I would happily pay $12 for a bagel, however I would never pay $12 for this bagel, especially considering it couldâve cost $16(!!!) with butter. Nothing about our meal has me yearning to go back...
Read moreStopped by for a quick bagel and cream cheese spread. The overall service is quick and on par with what would be expected for just two toasted bagels and cream cheese. The actual bagels are okay â maybe above average from what youâd find at a grocery store bakery in terms of quality â but not something Iâd go out of my way for. I would argue of the flavors Iâve tried from this shop (which is most of them), the cheddar jalepeno is the best, followed by egg, and cinnamon toast. The cream cheeses are also fairly okay. Again, better than what youâd find in a grocery store, but not the most amazing compared to other places Iâve been to. Overall, this is a long winded review to say that you shouldnât go out of your way to come here, but itâs a decent stop if youâre looking for...
