I wanted to like this place and followed them on social media advertised from mutual friends from social media and it looked so good that I was willing to drive about a half hour to try it out. I really wish I didn’t because when I arrived the first thing that was kind of annoying which isn’t the businesses fault but just had to say, was one of the girls at the front who was very nice but gave me a weird vibe. Was she told me the total price and then proceeded to tell me right when I was swiping that they had coupons and I saw that I could have used one them at that time esp trying out the place for the very first time and I asked her if I could use one because I’m not in the area often and would like to save a little money. She said oh sorry I can’t go back. I’m pretty sure a manager can refund that transaction and redo a new transaction, cmon. I didn’t like that lying. I was like ok then, whatever I was thinking. I then go home finally to try the pizza, I had to reheat of course cause I had a long drive home. I looked at the pizza and noticed on my half n half speciality pizza, I got mixed greens on one side and it’s supposed to include broccoli, I had about 3-4 pretty big slices of that kind and only one had broccoli on it. I hate to complain, but I had to call them up and let them know. I mean you pay for what you get, and the pizza wasn’t cheap at all, I expect to get what’s supposed to be on it, not just on one slice. The girl was clueless on the phone. Didn’t offer to remake it or offer a refund or anything of the sort. She said what do you want me to do? I was speechless. So she finally put me on with the owner “she said” instead I’m put on with the cook which didn’t sound like the owner. He told me the reason he thinks there was only one slice with broccoli and then said he wanted to offer me something else next time I come in. Wasn’t specific on what to offer and then told me it was his mistake and wanted to make up for it and decided to tell me he wanted to pay for it. I said what do you mean “pay for it”? He wanted to pay it out of his check he said. I’m just like ok, that’s kind weird? Usually the business takes responsibility for things like that and just offers to remake on their behalf or a refund in most cases like that. Instead it was awkward and felt he wanted to make me feel bad now. I said forget it, don’t worry about it. I just knew I couldn’t go back there. Just very disappointed is all I have to say with the customer service and the pizza wasn’t to die for, it needed a lot more sauce in me and my husbands opinion. I’m just sick of paying a lot for food and not being to my satisfaction for even one bit. It’s unbelievable. Now I know why I cook my own food at home and know it’s going to be good, atleast it’s less expensive and to my...
Read moreSo disappointed to be writing as negative a review as i can but lets begin. I wanted to give my business to this place after seeing him give back to the community during this virus stuff and that was such a mistake.
The process took nearly 2 hours and delivery arrived 30 minutes after the ETA given. Gotta love cold pizza right...
Diving into the order we found we received fried ravioli instead of mozzarella sticks. When we called in to ask about it we were told they gave us an alternative because they didnt have my number, which i have the email proving i provided. The person on the phone told my wife "have you tried them? they're the same thing except square form" when she said she didnt like them. They then attempted to try and give us a credit for the mix up.
I called back and received the same passive aggressive attitude that my wife received. I explained im not interested in a credit and i wanted a refund to which she put me on hold. I made a comment to my wife that "you know shes going to take her time" while i was on hold to which she responded to the statement in yet again a rude manner.
I enjoyed the pizza so its a bummer one person on the phone can ruin an experience. She said her name was Tammy, who knows if thats true, she was working tonight (4/23) at about 8 when i called.
EDIT: Owner reached out to me, said my review was unwarranted and i was told id be getting a refund for the food they never gave me and a few weeks later,...
Read moreWorst experience ever! Ordered online around 6pm for food to be delivered at 8pm. Sounds simple right, plenty of time to make everything perfect. Unfortunately this was not the case! Food showed up a half hour early and the pizza and onion rings were cold. Ordered a roast beef with lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, onions, cheese, sauce and mayo. Came with no lettuce, no tomato and barely any sauce. Ordered a parma sub and it was mostly veggies and a slice or maybe two of prosciutto. What a rip off. When I called to complain they offered me a credit for half or to remake and send out the order. I chose to resend the order. 45 mins later they call back and say they cant remake and send the order and there is nothing they are willing to do for me. Absolutely angry over the quality of there food and their unwillingness to make the customer happy. Poor customer service! I will tell everyone about my horrible experience with Mickeys. Its too bad because I have gotten from them in the past and it was decent. All they had to do was make it right and I wouldn't be writing this scathing review. However they chose to do nothing about my issues and now have lost a customer for life as well as others who I'll be sure to continue to voice my disgust with this establishment. Mickeys you are terrible and crooks for serving sub-par food and not taking care of your customers complaints when clearly you are...
