It’s hard to put into words how perfect of an experience we had at Zeppe’s last Friday for our wedding. Firstly, we gave Zeppe’s a very short notice to plan our big event (3 weeks). Without hesitation, Chris, Zeppe’s event planner, dove in, reserved the entire restaurant for us, and began planning the decorations and food menu. She had everything put together for us within 2 weeks —from the menu, to linens, to decorations, to a schedule of the night’s events. Now for the night of the wedding itself—the restaurant was set up perfectly to host a wedding. The tables were moved out of the middle dining room, which was where we had the ceremony and would later be used as the dance floor. The decorations were absolutely gorgeous—flowers, linens, centerpieces, a hand decorated trellis, and candles. The food was absolutely delicious—we crafted our own menu and were given a large variety of options to pick from. We also had an open bar, which worked out perfectly. Also, the price was unbeatable for a 60 person wedding. Zeppe’s was extremely reasonable and tailored the menu to match our budget. The staff was very helpful and efficient. All of our guests had a blast and we had the time of our lives. Chris and Zeppe’s management staff and wait staff really pulled this off! We cannot thank them all enough. This is a truly special group of people. Thank you again for making our perfect day just...
Read moreOur experience today was not typical of this restaurant, but we were less than thrilled. It was Friday evening just after 6:30 when we arrived. We were told it would be a 20 minute wait, but then they offered us a table sooner. Good, right? The table was right by the door to the kitchen and the too-narrow walkway to the rest of the dining room. It's a fairly small place and there were a lot of servers. Not a single one was smiling, and we overheard several servers complaining to each other. One server managed to generate 2 or 3 "crises". Come on! You're serving pizza and pasta. How much can go wrong? We ordered an appetizer that was ok. Salads were a plate of shredded cheese with a little iceberg lettuce hidden underneath. Between the negative attitudes and the long wait time for our food, I lost my appetite. After almost 90 minutes we asked for our food to go. Our waitress was not to blame and we tipped her well. Suggestions: time to redecorate and add more lighting. Train your staff to leave their attitude in the kitchen. When you're in the dining room, smile and act professional. Have a complaint? I don't need to know about it. Discuss it away from your diners. Finally, if someone asks for their order to go suddenly, get your manager to that table to politely ask if there is a problem. I had to apologize to my wife for choosing...
Read moreIf you want over priced reheated food and terrible service, this should be your go to restaurant. The service we received at this location was beyond terrible. We waited fifteen minutes for our drinks alone, and forty five minutes went by before our food came. The food came and it was clear it had sat in the back and they had stuck the plates in the microwave to reheat them. At the time there was only three or so other tables filled in the entire restaurant. Our waitress was too busy socializing up by the bar to actually do her job. When my stepfather finally got up to ask the waitress how much longer we might be waiting for our food, she got a terrible attitude with him. Shortly after, several employees were blatantly standing in the doorway staring at our table and whispering. The professionalism in this establish is literally nonexistent. The manager finally came over and was less than apologetic. When my mother asked the manager for the owner's number, she was told, "good luck getting a call back.." Needless to say, I will be telling everyone I know to avoid...
