Excellent summer subset date night experience. Wait was as expected, about 20 mins. At the time of this review they do not take reservations or call-aheads, so arriving and putting your name in for outside seating was the only option. Service was good, even though it was our waitress' first day and she was still training. The only service failure was when we had to turn the patio heater near us on ourselves after the sun set, which wasn't a big deal for me. Portions were on the smaller side, but in line with prices. Drinks were okay, but not excellent. Cucumber mint mixed drink had too much ice in it and was very watered down a few minutes after arriving at the table. Overall it was enjoyable and will be added to my list of go-to summer spots along side Olde Salt House in Cohasset.

We tried Red Sky our first night in Hull. The views are great particularly at sunset. The shrimp and scallion polenta was delicious. One of my party had the Saparitos Cavatelli and said it was one of the best he has had. The other member of my party had the grilled mushroom flat bread pizza. It was very good hot and the leftover cold pizza was good. When we arrived we had to wait about 30 minutes this was due to the current environment and the fact sunset was approaching. If you're in Hull, Massachusetts give the Red Sky a try.

Hmmmm...all the 5 star reviews are throwing us for a loop! Giving Red Sky a 2 because our server was lovely. We came for lunch this afternoon after kayaking and beaching. The drinks were awful (alcoholic ones)..I even ordered a different one than I ordered first hoping it would be much better..awful (Cucumber spritzer and some Coconut drink). Even our daughter's shirley temple was gross...how is that even possible..she switched to water. My husband ordered the scallops and they were served with oddly discolored fingerling potatoes and a "sweet corn salad" that was also very oddly colored (green brown rather than yellow). THe scallops were fine but you can't really mess up seared scallops. I ordered the haddock po'boy which I was told was "amazing"..ummm, how so? I LOVE haddock and a great sandwich at that, this was a half piece of battered fish that truly was tasteless and the roll was smothered in an olive and caper tapenade that I was not told was on the sandwich...gross. That does not even complement nicely whatsoever. Anyhow, 2 of our kids got chicken fingers that were good and my other child got the pizza...yes it was good but the descriptions from others about the crust and such are hysterical because it was in no way THAT good! Our waitress was great and she even asked us how the drinks were for some reason (new bartender maybe??) and I told her honestly..not good. For $200 without tip for a lunch bill, this place does not warrant a...

I ordered the fried clams for $48. While the clams were tasty there were very few on top of a pile of thick mushy french fries. I don't eat a lot at one sitting, but I was still hungry after finishing it . The clams had a touch of spice in them, which was an interesting twist, but I i'm more of a purist. Much better deal at Woods in Plymouth or Woodmans in Essex for the same price. I know because I have been to both restaurants in the past month. The clams at Woods and Woodmans are so plentiful you cannot possibly eat them all in one sitting. And the batter is light and crispy and the clams taste like clams. Excellent.

The skimpy amount of clams at the Drift is a joke. Insulting, actually. I would never order them again because of that. Oh, and those thick mushy fries, I swear I can still taste them.

Male waitstaff was welcoming and friendly, but the female bartender acted like she would rather be somewhere else.

I like the vibe of the place, the tropical shirts that wait staff wears, the decor and the location with the outdoor seating...

DO NOT GO HERE. they overcharged me for two food items I did not get and are impossible to reach via phone to sort this issue out. Their pay system is bizarre. You sit down at a table and scan a QR code to order and pay for your food. They then bring out said food but there are no waiters or servers here so don’t expect a check or anything. I ordered the fish & chips and 1 raspberry lime ricky. Well after we left, I get a receipt for those two items, plus another Ricky and a margarita - both of which I did NOT get. They also automatically add an absurdly large tip to your bill and there is no option to let you choose this.

I’ve called and left countless messages to try to sort this issue out and get reimbursed for the two items I did not get. But this place is impossible to get a hold of. Nobody answers the phone or listens to voice messages to call back. Terrible customer service - they have ultimately stolen $$$ from a customer and have zero care about resolving this. The food was also just ok - nothing exceptional. DO...
