We will definitely stay here again! We got to our room late at night and we were starving so it was nice they had snacks and bottled water on the table in the room when we got there. It was nice they could accommodate our late check-in. I was afraid the place would not be as nice in person as the pictures show online because of how cheap the price was for what we were getting near Boston (other hotels were wanting to charge nearly twice as much just for a standard room!) but I was SO IMPRESSED with how beautiful and clean the room was!!! My husband and I are quiet and like our space so this place was perfect for us because no one bothered us and yet we never needed anything because they place is set up so well. There were just a couple minor things I would like to point out: our room was pretty cold when we got there (the temp in the room was set for 62 and I had to turn it up to a more reasonable temp like 70 but it took a while for the room to heat up but when I woke up it was nice and toasty warm), the fireplace is nice but it has a timer on the side when you turn it on there is a ticking time noise (not very romantic) which is kinda annoying so I just turned it off, and the bathroom sink doesn’t drain very well. But other than those things the room was so great and so clean!!! So I still gave the full 5 stars because I felt so good staying there and would totally recommend it to anyone else!! Very great price for a very...
Read moreVery nice home with beautiful high ceilings and more mouldings than a library. Looks like something out of a magazine. In terms of travel, great location and it's near Hingham and 3A. 2 drawbacks lose them some stars though: ) Not much they can do but the house is 100 feet from the main road so if your bedroom is on that side, like ours was, instead of hearing the ocean, you hear cars and trucks buzzing by all night. The bedroom and the bathroom are separate. Both are very nice, but I don't believe that is advertised. Pictures give the illusion that all the rooms are self contained. Pity because the bathroom has the ocean view!
Other than that it is a lovely home... So much better than any of the hotels in Hull. Also, if you're looking for a place next to the beach, this might not be your place as you'd still have to drive and park ($) to Nantasket, but if you're looking for a place to chill by a fire pit, looking out over a small bay, with quick access to Hingham and Cohassett that's the place. That bay might get murky at low tide? When we were there the ocean was frozen so we don't know, but that area can get a little rank from the marshes. Or it could be fantastic... No way to know unless...
Read moreLong story short. In August my Deaf son-in-law booked a surprise 17 year Anniversary weekend for my daughter and him to get away on bookingcom. Unfortunately, my daughter became ill ( not Covid) and they were unable to go. I spoke with the owner, Jon, and he graciously honored their reservation and they used it last weekend. They needed the get away, she's a sign language teacher at a HS and he's a roofer. They raved about how beautiful it was, the bed was luxurious and entire nautical decor was peaceful and cozy. They dined locally and took long walks. This place has a great location, away from the hustle and bustle, but looking out the window, the ocean is right there and an easy walk or ride to Nantasket Beach.||||I was especially impressed with the communication and willingness of Jon to work with them to make this special Anniversary Getaway happen. Such kindness and integrity is rare these days, so a shout out for this beautiful Luxury Inn and it's owner, Jon is the...
