Daddy's Daiquiris n Grub — Restaurant in Humble

This was my first and last time trying this place. I went because the place had more good reviews than bad, but I’m wondering if the good reviews are even real reviews, I wished that I had stuck to the bad reviews because they were the truth. And I normally don’t give food reviews but this is a no-no. First off my order was $27.87 and what I received was not worth the money I spent. I got the 12 piece wings (which was supposed to spicy lemon pepper, I seen on a picture on their page on google) they were anything but lemon pepper and definitely not spicy. I order with that a small fried okra, the batter that they used taste like chemical ( I have bought frozen battered okra from HEB and those were a lot better than what I received). Lastly I order with that fried pickles ( they were okay besides the grease at the bottom). Nevertheless I was not pleased and throw the rest of the wings away and the okra, I tried to give benefit of the doubt but nope couldn’t do it. Even though Wingstop seems a bit dry at times it would have been so much better, even Little Caesar wings are way better than this and Dominos too. I hate the fact that I wasted closed to almost $30 on this food that was anything but good. The lady that took my order over the phone was very nice!

In response to the lady that took my order, yes you said the grill was closed but proceeded to ask what I wanted and I gave you my order, on the website and google it states that ya’ll close at midnight and I gave my order a little bit before 9 pm and had you said that ya’ll were closing soon than there is no way I would’ve ordered anything, I do respect people work hours and I understand that people want to get home and relax. Also, it did not take me over 30 minutes to get there, I live off of 1960 and it literally took me 15 minutes to get there and this was using maps. You are very nice and have good customer service, it’s just the food wasn’t good to me and others may find it the best to them. But like I was saying before I hardly ever leave a review on food that I purchase, I literally went to bed hungry and to add insult to injury my fridge is totally empty from the storm just as well as I am sure many others may have to same issue. So that’s why it is even more upsetting because of how much money I spent to enjoy food at your establishment. I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THIS PLACE AGAIN If you order 2 pieces of fish It's actually one piece of fish cut in half and same whn they give you a piece of bread they give you half of a slice not a whole slice I mean literally half of a slice smh Hell maybe they was low on food that day and was trying to stretch everything smh Never in my life have I ordered 2 pieces of fish at a restaurant and they give you one piece and cut it in half and say that's 2 pieces Say for example if you order tilapia and ask for 2 pieces they will cut that one piece in half and say that's 2 pieces smh THIS PLACE IS A JOKE I will never wate my money at this place again THEY GOT ME THIS TIME WONT GET ME AGAIN I don't recommend this restaurant at all cause they getting over on people If you don't believe me go check them out for yourself and see what I'm talking about They charge alot for they food and it's not worth it Go chk them out for yourself if you think I'm joking and the alcohol drinks are weak I'm not a drinker but whn ever I do get a drink somewhere I usually feel it cause I'm not a drinker I didn't even get a buzz So hopefully this review will make them change how they do...
