I was spending time in a physical rehabilitation facility I started ordering my dinner every night from Ming garden spending about upwards to $40 every evening for two and a half weeks and always leaving a 6th or $7 tip for the delivery person the food started off great for the first week and then it just started to go downhill one night I ordered my food and they said it would be there in 30 to 45 minutes after about an hour and 15 minutes I called to see if there was a problem they said the driver had just left and that they had called him and he should be there within 5 minutes another half hour later I called and nicely canceled my order I told him that they did not lose my business I was just not in the mood to eat it anymore it was too late a couple nights later I tried them out again order two two different dinners the bill was about 35-40 dollars once again the order did not come after an hour and a half I called to see what the problem was and they didn't answer the phone they knew it was me calling probably because of caller ID so I asked if one of the nurses would call me garden to see if they answered the phone and they answered it on the second ring I had saved all my receipts and I and I added them up it came close to $250 that I had spent there in a 12-day period and this is how they treated me because I did not accept delivery on a $17 appetizer order no loyalty whatsoever not to mention the food was...
Read moreI never even ate the food. Never will after what i witnessed. I was picking up for door dash and had to wait a while in the lobby. I don’t mind waiting. What bothered me was he had two children working for him.ok fine. Everytime the youngest boy (had to be about 7-10 years old) done something “wrong“ the man would SCREAM at him in front of customers. I sat there for over 30 minutes and he screamed at the boy for 25 of them. It got to the point where I had to say something. Which eventually started an altercation between he and i. I couldn’t help it And I would do it all over again. The poor boy looked embarrassed and hurt every single time this man said something to him. I understand teaching children lessons or whatever the case may be but it was very clear he was saying hurtful degrading things to this poor boy. His face was defeated. No child that age should be worried about getting yelled at every time he does something “wrong” Finally I guess his wife comes out and is asking what my problem is. So I explained to her that it’s not okay for him to be yelling at those kids in-front of a lobby full of customers. That’s rude to your business and embarrassing for those kids. I would never spend my money here. I don’t care how good the food is. If he treats his kids that way do you think he really cares about...
Read moreThese folks need to come up with a system. There aren't many Chinese carryout places nearby, so these folks don't really try as they have a corner on the market. Placed an online order on a busy night. The projected wait was 45 minutes. I arrived right on time. There were tons of people standing around for carryout. There was a young boy at the counter who was more interested in his phone than in being helpful. Bag after bag of food was placed on the prep table. Out of space, it started going onto the front counter. Oddly, no one took the food. There were a dozen people standing around waiting for someone to give order to the chaos. After 10 minutes and overflowing tables, I went up front and said, why are you not calling out these orders? The kid looked at me like I had 3 heads. He picked up a bag and called a name and the customer stepped up and took it. He said, "Sorry, I didn't know." Kid, this isn't rocket science and maybe one of the grownups in the back bringing up the food could maybe do something too? I finally found my own bag and left. Got home -- no napkins, no chopsticks, no mustard, no fortune cookie. Just food that was, by now, lukewarm. SMH. I...
