Very friendly, very professional. Ramon and Carolina were great,I miss them. I loved the mariscada ... Too bad it is no longer available.

It was excellent! Had the seafood stew three times, it was great had it for times! Very unhappy it is off the menu now.

My wife has had the enchiladas and Cuban sandwich. She said that she enjoyed them, both, very good.

UPDATE:

1/19/2024 - I went back again for lunch today and it is still a great place. My server Isabella was very professional and friendly, we always enjoy eating here.

Update 8/28/2025 - I went back for dinner because I received an email saying my favorite dish, the mariscada, was available. Unfortunately it was not. The email was sent erroneously. The substitute soup was very, very, very salty. I couldn't eat it, stopped mid way. My mojito was disappointing as well, if the mint garnish is bad please don't put it in the drink. Table service was great, Rudolfo was very polite and professional. The manager is also very polite and professional. Chef/cooks?!?! Please let the staff know when things are not available. Please use less salt too, I could not drink the broth. Both the appetizer, yucca with chimichurri sauce, and the main course, mariscada and rice, which were the reason for my visit tonight, were not available. Sadly, I left very disappointed with how this evening went. You were so much better a year ago, please get back there if you can. The customers notice these things. In today's times I know it's not easy. But...

GREAT FOOD!! UNUSUAL SERVICE THOUGH!! WAITERS AND WAITRESSESS TIP THEMSELVES WITH YOUR MONEY!! : Dinned in and thought the food & service was great. Enjoyed the meal so much decided to order pickup a week later and paid with my debit card. I may be out of the loop in regards to restaurant etiquette but I didn't think you tipped for pick-up. I consider myself a big tipper and always tip very well. A day or so after I recieved my call in order, I was scrolling through some expenses and happen to notice the amount processed on my debit card was for more than I was told by the restaurant employee. Decided to order pick-up once again. I thought to myself, this time I will just pay with cash. I arrived at the restaurant, recieved my food from a different person, this time a young man. As he handed me my order, he made a peculiar comment, he stated " don't worry, I haven't receieved a break all day". I counted my change, and this time my cash change was short. I assume he just "pocketted" what he felt was a sufficient tip for a call in and pick-up order.

I must say I have dinned out all around the world and this was a first for me. The food is great however, apparently the service may need a bit of training.

I have not eaten...

Update: they recently closed & reopened for renovations are the new decor is AMAZING! Relaxed, loungey vibe. I finally tried some dinner items & they did not disappoint. The chorizo empanadas, and mojito chicken were amazing, but my absolute favorite thing was the lomo saltado! Some of the best lomo saltado I have ever had. The steak was so tender, the sauce was amazing, and the fries were perfectly crispy. Service + drinks were amazing as always. I love this place!

All the food was flavorful, properly cooked

The steak in my burrito was juicy and not overdone which is always appreciated. Whatever sauce they serve over the top is awesome.

House made salsa was flavorful but not overly spicy

Had a margarita & a mojito. (I wasn’t the designated driver don’t worry lol) they were both tasty, not overly sweet & I could tell they were strong without getting a boozy burning taste in the back of my throat. Lots of fresh fragrant mint in those mojitos too.

Service was fast & accurate. The environment reminded me of being back home in the Bronx & it’s clear this place is either run by family or people who treat each other like family.

Lovely for a midday date or quick lunch/drink with the ladies. Will have to stop back in for...

My husband and I were on the north side of Charlotte when I was craving Spanish food, so we decided to give this place a try. The restaurant is beautifully designed, and my mango mojito was absolutely delicious. The menu seemed to offer a little bit from various Latin countries, which I appreciated. My husband ordered the Quesadilla La Reina and enjoyed it, while I went with the Pollo a La Plancha, which was just okay. The dish was advertised as marinated Puerto Rican chicken served with rice, beans, and sweet plantains. Before ordering, I asked about the type of rice and beans and was told it was yellow rice with green peas—I mistakenly assumed this meant arroz con gandules (a traditional Puerto Rican dish). I also substituted the maduros (sweet plantains) for tostones (fried green plantains) but wasn’t informed there would be an extra charge. I was surprised to see the additional cost on the bill at the end of our meal. Additionally, I was disappointed in the side of black beans and yellow rice, as it wasn’t what I had expected. If I return, I’d likely try a dish that leans more toward the Mexican side of the menu.
