Why are real people afraid to take real people's food orders? We won't bite. Food was good. customer service skills 0 Don't be shy, the only way to interact with people is to INTERACT with people. Believe it or not, customers want be treated well, just as you do. Kiosks don't replace people, but yet they keep trying. There was plenty of help , I counted 4 employees at least.
Not teaching your crew good customer service skills is on the management. It can be done. It's called training. Help your employees, help customers. In the real world, customer service skills are needed in every aspect of life. Learn to look people in the eye, interact, exchange pleasantries, etc. it's hard in the beginning. It gets easier. If you're looking to move up in your careers, learn it, live it, love it. You'll make more $$$$ in the long-run. Can't expect big pay for meh skills. They may have told you that in school. If not, News Flash: The go getters get the gold. Even at McDonald's, you can excel. And other employers notice YOUR fantastic customer service skills. And think. My daughter also had an order through her app for the 1 St curbside pickup with mine. THE NIGHT CREW ignored my 2 CURBSIDE PICKUPS! Sent my daughter in to check on it after waiting for 45 minutes for no one to show up. They had my first curbside spot# but told daughter they took order out but no one was there(oh but I was). They can't take an order out to curbside until they have the spot number to know where to go!! So that was a lie! Unless they went to the wrong side of the building thinking it was the curbside area. That was a 45 minute waiting ordeal. Second time was drive thru, No problem-8 min wait. Third time, I parked in a curbside spot to place my order. Just so they couldn't say that they took it out and no one was there because I was. After not getting my order after 20 mintues of waiting, sent daughter in AGAIN to check on it... All they said was "oh sorry". Seems they were only tending to the drive thru orders and ignoring/neglecting curbside pickup orders. Approx. 1 hr 15 min wait for 4 sandwiches. Very upsetting. Read moreBurgers were good and warm. Fries were cold. There was only one other customer sitting in the restaurant, but it took forever for someone to take our order. Register wouldn't open. Swiped gift card. She said the card didn't work and took our cash. Then apologized and said the card worked, but she entered the cash first. Just said that was fine, not to complicate or confuse the girl any further. Many of the tables were dirty despite not being busy at all. Another couple came in while we were eating and ended up walking out because no one took their order or acknowledged they were there. Workers appeared to be standing around talking instead of doing their job. Didn't take long for this place to go downhill.
