I used to come here every day when I worked across the street. Never again. I understand that times change and prices continually go up but I’ll give you an idea- I used to walk out with big bag of fries and a double bacon avocado burger for less than $10. Biggest burgers ever!
Decided to come stop by the other day after not visiting in 5+ years. Huge mistake. I called over the phone, ordered my usual and came in to pick up. $29. Not even joking you. And the burger came in a itty bitty wrapper like I could fit in my pocket.
Burgers are a tenth of the size they used to be and cost stupid money. They charged me extra for each piece of cheese, each piece of bacon, and each patty instead of just charging me for a double burger with extra toppings. Nobody bothered to tell me my one burger and fries would cost $30 until I got to the counter to pay.
On top of that, the bacon was not good and the meat didn’t have the classic Duke’s Burger taste.
This place was obviously purchased by new owners some time in the past 5 years. Avoid this place like the plague. Total rip off, you’re better off spending your money at Farmer Boys or...
Read moreThe burger was a preshaped, frozen patty, with not so much as a sprinkle of season salt. No freshness, no flavor. Pretty bad in fact.
The fries were good, and the serving was generous. We had a bunch of fries left over.
There was an off duty employee in the dining room with his buddy, who had apparently just interviewed there for a job, and (not surprisingly) wasn't hired. The buddy, angrily speaking loudly, dropped an F bomb while we are at the next table with our two young kids. His friend, the employee, says nothing. He dropped a second F bomb, I whip my head around and glare at him. His friend, still says nothing. While making direct eye contact with me, the kid drops a third F bomb.
I scold him for his language in proximity to young kids, and suggest it's not a shock he didn't get the job, and that based on his behavior, his future job prospects don't look great. He tucked tail and slinked to the bathroom to hide from me.
His friend, the employee, put his apron back on and went back to the kitchen, still without every...
Read moreIt was love at first bite. The eggs are like a fluffy soufflé perfectly seasoned and the bread, salty soft and crunchy all-in-one bite with the melted cheese and a slice of ham. The White drizzle sauce makes this sandwich come together beautifully. A side of fried zucchini hit the spot as I dipped it in their delicious ranch. It was so good the first time, I ordered it again when I went in the second time. And sure enough it was the same great taste. I was so full both times that I couldn't finish it. They're consistent and execute that egg sandwich perfectly. I wanted to try something new so I ordered the bulgogi bowl. Again that too was delicious. They asked me if I wanted a side of kimchi and sure enough it hit the spot. It's perfectly fermented not too sweet with a crunchy bite. I already know what I'm getting next time!
