I am regular there, however I have noticed that the quality and the portion of the meals are getting smaller but the prices are not. Especially with the fresh meals like salads. Second, some of the staff have some ego issues. I am not gonna name anybody publicly but maybe asking the staff not to have an attitude when the client asks a question (especially that they are not servicing, they are only taking the order and getting tipped) Most probably won’t go there again. Great location steps away from Sunset Beach. This location shares brewery neighbors Golden Road and the highly acclaimed RIIP. Green Cheek has a nice variety of very well made craft beers and some tasty pub food. The inside is spacious and the upstairs patio is very nice with a little view of the ocean. My primary hope here is that they will figure out how to deliver your food upstairs so you don’t need to abandon your beer to retrieve your food order downstairs.

A welcome addition to sunset beach. Green cheek beer in Costa Mesa is killing it, and their recent opening here in HB continues to provide tasty beers and a chill, quirky surf vibe. They focus on burgers and beer here, and tots… I’ll be back for more beer on the patio at sunset. I also like their pricing, cannot beat their value anywhere along sunset beach. Try them out!

My nephews, nieces and I stayed on Sunset Beach for a week. I took my 10 and 7 year old nephew and niece twice for lunch!! The Classic Smash Burger is awesome and their tater tots are cooked to perfection!!

I loved being able to have a small salad with my burger, while I stole many tots!! Their portions are shareable!! Both times I had an IPA that was perfect!

We went during the week and on Saturday. Both days we didn't have a wait. Even though they were busy in the weekend, we sat on a comfortable table with lots of room.

We will be back next year! Especially since we didn't have to play Frogger to...

Stop bringing your dogs in. Keep your animals out. Choose a proper facility to indoctrinate your dog into society. You’re not entitled to force patrons into accommodating your security, blanket/dog. Make the time and invest in personal responsibilities on your own. Give your animal the respect it deserves and take active responsibility that doesn’t inconvenience people eating food in a restaurant. Get your food to go, go to the park, walk to the beach. How much easier can it get? Don’t challenge our freedoms for your convenience.

Visited Green Cheek Beer Co. on Friday, 12/8/25 for Lunch and Beer Flight. We had the Mushroom & Swiss Smash Burger w/side salad and Plant-based California Burger w/side salad. The food quality was excellent. The beer was very good but the beer flight ordering process presented some challenges as the beer menu board is positioned on a wall away from the ordering area. It seemed to take a lot longer to order a flight than we were used to in other breweries that seem to have a more efficient process. Overall, the food, service and beer...
