Today I was heading to see my daughter and grandson, and made breakfast for them, but I didn't bring anything for me. I called a place my sister used to work at for a "can you have this in 5 mins? kinda order. Never answered the phone...
I remembered this place, but not the name "Hot Off the Grill", so I couldn't call ahead.
The staff is amazing!
I placed an order, was asked a couple ingredient questions and I heard the egs get mixed and dropped on "THE GRIDDLE". Music to my ears.
Minutes later, "your order is ready", condiments provided and on I went.
Recall I made breakfast so I also offered mine to my daughter if she wanted. No, I'm good. Halfway through and she got to have one of the greatest chili-chese omelettes I have EVER HAD!
STAFF ROCKS, REALLY CLEAN, PLENTY OF PARKING AND THE FOOOD........

We LOVE this place, especially the Huntington Beach location.
The staff is very friendly and we love sitting on the patio on a warm and sunny day.
The staff does what I feel is a very difficult thing to do - they walk the fine line of visiting our table enough to see what we need, but not over-visiting our table so that we can enjoy our meal in peace lol.
My favorite meal by far is the hard taco plate. Their homemade taco shells are crunchy and delicious and the red sauce they put on top of each taco is amazing! It's this interesting combination of sweet and salty that you usually don't find on a taco. It's almost like a sweet and sour sauce! I know this sounds odd for a taco but it's a great addition to the tacos.

I gave this location multiple tries before rating it for accuracy. I think the food here is reasonably consistent as far as taste. They never get my order wrong and I really enjoy the fact that they dont charge for ranch. So food is okay and prices are kind of okay. However the 3 stars is for one of the most important aspects of an eatery, SERVICE. They never seem happy to be working. Anytime I call in to order the greeting is dry and takin my order is always rushed. They never smile at me or greet me when I come into the restaurant and its offputting.
