So I had a tee time Sunday at 11:20. I live local to the course and i am also a member of the men’s club, so drive by while I’m out running a few errands before. I notice over 6 golfers on the #7 green with a cart to each one of them. Being a local I know that the time we booked, usually has trouble getting carts(no kidding when you allow 6 guys to their own cart in the same group) I call the pro shop to see if we will be able to get carts “Eric” answers the phone and tells me it’s “no guarantee” then when I mention the number of carts I saw on one whole, tho which his response was “that isn’t true, it’s not happening.” After calling a liar, Eric then proceeds to raise his voice and start being disrespectful to me as a customer, so I hung up. I arrive to the course and see 3 carts left for peoples use. My father(who is handicapped) was forced to go back to his car to show them his handicap placard before allowing him to use a cart(seemed like a lot, given we are both members and play there all the time) then tells us we can’t use 1 of the other 2 carts because they are reserved for later times, after previously telling me it was “no guarantee” and again is rude to me and my father. After hole 3 I ran into another member finishing up and he let me use his cart, with full intention of leaving the necessary 15$ for the cart that i tried to give them once already. He then again finds us on #7(the hole he claimed didn’t have 6 people on the green at once) and then calls me thief and demands I return the cart after being rude for the 3rd time to us, and I drop the cart off, there is now 25+ carts in the waiting area with another 15+ by the cart barn that had been returned from previous rounds. We paid the same amount as the players playing at 12-2 yet denied the same courtesies while there was plenty of carts and treated with disrespect. This man has terrible customer service skills and obviously is new to this golf course as this is our first run in with this person and hopefully our last. I was very disappointed with how my father and I had been treated at our local course, and will be speaking with management, but I left this so you can all prepare for the level of service and respect that “Eric” and meadowlark provide now...I’ll be taking a break to say the least, hopefully they can find...

Course conditions: course conditions are great, this course plays like a true muni should. Pace of play is most always 4 hours, however we know how all courses get in the late afternoons. The value is outstanding, the course has a great online reservation system and if I’ve ever had a tee time question the pro shop always answers.
Proshop & Staff: there is a gentleman by the name of Jordan, this guy is fun, he’s outgoing, nice and from the sounds of things with the other employees promotes a good culture. The cart girl starts around 9ish so sometimes that’s rough if you have a early early time, but the snack shop always gets it done for those occasions. The proshop is surprisingly stocked and stocked well… I’m talking big name brands, great finds, and good prices. For example I found a TaylorMade hat on-site that I didn’t want to buy online and couldn’t find at local stores, pretty cool to not have a hefty price tag at a course retail shop.
Course amenities: nice driving range, perfect for the pre round warmup, there is a nice putting green with decent slope and true course speed, this helps get things dialed in. The restaurant and bar has fantastic food and i challenge you to find a better bar atmosphere at a golf course, and everyone is respectful and welcoming.
My bottom line: you really feel the city of Huntington Beach at this course, laid back atmospheres, beautiful beach weather and amazing prices from snack shop to proshop to tee times.

I don’t even know where to begin in expressing our gratitude for Meadowlark Golf Club and their incredible team. From the moment we first visited, we knew it was the right place for us, but we couldn’t have imagined just how magical our wedding day would actually end up being, in no small part due to the exceptional team supporting us throughout as well as the beauty of the venue itself.
Amber, during the early phases when we were still learning about and deciding between venues, and Hannah, for pretty much all of our needs once we kicked off the formal planning process, went above and beyond in every way. Their kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail made the entire process stress-free (to the extent that something like this can be of course). They were always there with a smile, checking in, anticipating our needs, and making sure we could be fully present and enjoy the day. Thanks to them, everything flowed so seamlessly that we never had to worry about a thing.
The setting at Meadowlark was breathtaking with every view being picture-perfect, and our guests were blown away by how beautiful and welcoming it all felt. But what really made the day unforgettable was the care, enthusiasm and attention to detail that Hannah, Cliff and the whole team poured into it.
Our wedding day was more perfect than we ever dreamed, and we will forever be grateful to the entire team at Meadowlark Golf Club for giving us memories we’ll cherish...
