Miguel's Jr. — Restaurant in Huntington Beach

Only reason this is not a 1 star is because I grew up eating Miguels and it is just this location which causes problems. They always mess up my food. I request no cheese on my food always and 95% of the time they get it wrong and have to remake the food. Talking to the management they say they will make it right and be careful next time but this is still happening. I'm not blaming anyone in particular but it is frustrating when I bring this issue up all the time but nothing changes. This has happened at least 10-15 times in the past 2 years. I order off grubhub too and it's nothing different. Be careful if you order no cheese. I try to check the food everytime I order but sometimes I'm on the move and cannot stop each time. Other locations are good with this but this location causes issues, which stinks because I've been eating Miguels since I was a kid and always went to the original spot in Corona. I love this "fast food" authentic restaurant!! Their carne asada burritos "wet" or dry are the best!! I love Mexican food and have tried many, many local sit down & fast food restaurants that claim to be "authentic" & "homemade", but more often than not they are not that great or just average. Miguel Jr.s is really a step above. Their carne asada is moist & tender, and grilled to perfection with a delicious marinade! I have tried their carne burritos wrapped plain & served "enchilada style" where they pour a red sauce & add cheese and put it in the oven to melt the cheese. Both are delicious!! I have also tried their burritos as described on the menu as well as adding their "signature potatoes" to the burrito & "garbage" style, which adds guacamole, sour cream and other delicious items!! Hair on my food tonight! Gross! I tried to give them another chance. Extremely disappointed at this restaurant and their customer service. They read my review regarding my poor experience at the Huntington Beach store 4 months ago and asked me to contact them. I contact them and they promise to send me a gift certificate for my troubles. It's been 4 months now and I recieved no certificate and now they are not responding to my emails. Stay away from this place. They don't care about their customers enough to follow through. Their false promises I think speak volumes about their company, products and service.
