Hardee's — Restaurant in Huntington

My wife and I stopped in on a Sunday morning. . As you can imagine, they were busy!! I noticed a glass case on the wall. . I truly recommend coming inside this joint. It's like memory Lane Hardee's style. As we patiently waited in line for our delicious breakfast I wowed and amazed everyone who could hear with the stories of my youth. . How I used to come home from school and chew the arms off all of my California raisins while watching cartoons. . The diecast stock car. . I was able to teach others about Russ Wheeler. . Cole Trickle's teammate turned Nemesis!! I don't know why Hardee's sponsored him anyway!! Disclaimer it's not Russ wheelers car. . But. . a stock car is a stock car!! We spent 53 minutes at this location and took our food to go. . My wife has love for Hardee's. . And mountain people. . (It's not racist, we're from Harlan county, Kentucky. We're more mountain than these folk.) Everyone was working hard. . I wish I could remember the girl's name that was working the front counter. . She deserves a raise seriously. Or at least a box of gourmet donuts. You know, just to show appreciation. They got my food ready and somebody else came and snatched it. It's not their fault. . The girl of whom I speak gave me two delicious apple pies that successfully smoothed things over. And I couldn't complain. . The misses has a couple vices. . One being Hardee's gravy. It's like crack to her. Or like catnip to a cat I don't know. . She's not a crackhead. The California raisins got me thinking. . Corporate. . I know you're reading this. . . Bring back moose cups and California raisins. . The sooner the better. . That advice is free. . When the campaign is successful, I appreciate you naming me head of marketing. . Stopped here for lunch 7/3/2018 12:58pm i ordered the number 13 $5.00 meal cheeseburger an a hotdog wanted ever thing on my hotdog girl working says well i can put chili an onions on it an i will give you some ketchup an mustard packs an you can put them on yourself.. well ok then i guess i will have too.. so then she is out of ones an almost walkz off an leaves her drawer open while goimg to get change thank goodness the lady in the back seen it an told her to close the drawer before she walked off an never to leave her drawer open so she gets the change an it takes her a min to figure out what she was doing so she finally remembered an gave me my change an then the wait begins about 10 mins later i get my food an oh yeah guess what i have to ask for that ketchup an mustard for my hotdog an ketchup for my fries lol she forgot already lol... well i get to my vehicle open my box to find fries just threw in the box all over everything no fry container nowhere an the fries are luke warm.. Hardees is good but this place has gone down hill some i think there needs to be some serious cleaning at this store an some training done if you look around behind the counter looks to me like they mop around stuff an dont move anything the casters on there equipment is disgusting like they have never been cleaned.. Hardee’s really use to be my favorite place for breakfast, by far. And I do really enjoy the burgers as well. But this location, they really just need to close. They are never open in the evenings and there are a couple days they aren’t open at all. If you get there before they close at only 3pm and get a burger or anything, food is far from fresh and you can tell it had been made probably around 11. The visitor Hardee’s are amazing but this place really has been getting smaller and just quality is all the way gone. I still absolutely love Hardee’s when I’m at any other location, any time I go anywhere else. But the only one we have left around Huntington, it’s just not worth it anymore. They either need to invest in redoing the filthy building, revamp with staffing, raise the pay would probably be a big help for them as it seems they are one of the lowest paying fast food restaurants left in the area, and get back to regular hours like they use to have and most restaurants have. I really wish this place could get the help and assistance they need to get back to being great. But all my past experiences over the past couple years has just been...
