Terrible customer service from the guy with the blonde hair and glasses at the front desk…since he refused to give me his name. He charged me more than what the price of the 2 year old outdated menu they still pass out and refused to pay me back the difference. Instead he offered to give me a full refund if I gave him my food back which was a big inconvenience since it was late and most places are closed. He didn’t bring it to my attention that the menu was outdated and prices changed until after he had already ran my card and I brought to his attention that the price didn’t seem right. To top it off a lady comes from out of the kitchen carrying a dog, which disgusted me and then she sits down at a table with the dog the dog puts its paw on the table that customers eat on. Read moreFavorite sushi place, hands down. I have tried DOZENS of other sushi places, and none ever compare to New Yamato. They have the best sushi, miso soup, and spicy mayo I've ever had. Every time I try other sushi places, im disappointed that they're not as good as this place. And I feel so lucky to have the best sushi place so close to my house. I'm so shocked that little old Huntington houses the GOAT of sushi places. I wish they had Ramune more often. I feel like they're out of it a lot, and when they do have it, they don't tend to have Lychee or Strawberry (my favorites). They're never very busy, so they always help you so quickly. The serves are very nice and quick. They always have like 3 tvs playing stuff. Usually one with music, and then 2 with videos of people making Asian Street foods. Once they had like a live stream of kittens playing!...

She was attentive, bubbly, and cute! She helped us with a suggestion for a roll (spicy salmon) and we weren't disappointed! The lobster rangoons were absolutely amazing and perfectly done! I loved the fried tofu. It was like eating a fried cloud! I don't know how to explain it. 🤣 Everything was delicious! We loved the sake. We're not really ones who like tvs in restaurants but we loved that they had a program on that showed Japanese cooking. We could have sat all afternoon there and enjoyed that! The atmosphere is super cool. I really wanted a tshirt but they were out. We'll definitely be back to try new things when we come back to...
