The Good: Got there early (5pm Saturday) and was seated immediately. Super friendly staff, fast service, and the food came fast! Large portions, at a good price (I'm taking half home, I'm stuffed). Picture in the menu didn't do the food justice, was a pleasant surprise! I had a mango frozen margarita, and it was really good. Daughters had the flan for dessert, and said it was better than the excellent one they had in Chicago (she raved about that one). YMMV depending on how fanatical you are about flan.
The Bad: they do not have options for celiac. My wife isn't quite that bad, close.
So, but we ended up having a talk with the manager about what they could do, and they were able to work something out. It took them a couple tries, but they tried their best and had a great, happy attitude the whole time. In the end the wife was really pleased with what they served,
Thoughts: we've found a great new Mexican place when we're in town. Good prices, huge serving, and a great atmosphere. Wrong will be back for more. Tell...
Read moreOk so I've been here 3 times 2 times today alone. Today's lunch and service was good however when i returned to get a FRIED ICE CREAM in the evening it was horrible both ice cream and service. Unprofessional unfriendly and not a fried ice cream. One of the so called hostess couldn't answer any question or concern she just kept getting someone else AND I'm bilingual so its not like she didn't understand my English or Spanish. My suggestion if you advertise something make what you advertise. I got a scoop of ice cream smothered in chocolate carmel and whipped cream in a fried tortilla and they called it fried ice cream. They were shocked i checked before leaving or that i knew what a fried ice cream is suppose to look like. One of the ladies kept telling why they couldn't fry it i said then don't have it in your menu as fried ice cream. Some may say this looks good BUT it's not what i ordered off the menu. False advertisement. Que velguensa....
Read moreTerrible....took forever to get our food. Server was very obviously a new hire and was unable to answer our questions about the menu. I ordered the beef fajitas and the meat was overcooked to the point of being more like beef jerky. Very little onion and what was there was burned. I had asked for medium rare....nope ..not even close. Had to ask for cheese and was told they didn't do that. I told our server we would pay for it and she went and got me some. No flavor in the beans or the rice or the tortilla chips either. My husband ordered the pork carnitas and that was quite tasty. Service to extremely slow and the restaurant was not busy. we were also disappointed that the ad we saw raved about the buffet..only to be told buffet is only served at lunch....🤔. Not sure we will ever be back. Sorely disappointing...
