This was our 1st visit at this location, we just relocated from out of state. As hostess was sitting us, one of the waiters approached her and said loud enough for us to hear, where are you sitting them rudely, I asked for another server since she sat us in his section. I asked for the Manager (lightly brown hair female) regarding the conversation with the hostess and food server. She apologized .
The bartenders male and female, picked up our table. They were both great, very pleasant and on there game.
I ordered 16oz Top Sirloin, Cowboy Cut and my wife ordered 8oz Top Sirloin. Food runner brought food to our table, 2 6oz steaks, wrong order! Took them back..
7 min later food runner brought our order, I took a bite, my steak was cold. They took my meal back, male bartender approached table and checked on my food, food runner brought the same steak back, which means they put it back on the grill, I ordered a medium rare steak which now its medium. I told the food runner its OK, just take it back. The male bartender came over noticing my wife had her food but I didn't, I told him it's OK I don't want it. He went back in the kitchen and brought me out a new 16oz steak. Wow I couldnt believe he did that so quick. I cut into it, it was medium rare, but alot of string in it, then another floor manager I'm thinking, came over to see how the steak was. It had so many grissles and string in it, I could not eat it. At that point I was not interested any longer. They of course took off the meal that I didn't eat, but the Managers couldn't even come out and apologize. The only good experience we had is the two bartenders amd the male bartender that went...
Read moreWe had about a 1 hour wait when our group (5) went in, which is not uncommon for a wait time, however, during this wait, their servers went down. No one told us this after we were seated. The fried foods (cactus blossom, fried pickles, etc.) were awful. The fryer oil was clearly dirty in some way, as everything tasted like smoke. It took us about an hour and 15 minutes to get our food. At this point, our waitress had let us know that servers were down and that our meal would take a while to come out. We have been at this place for around 2.5 hours at this point. By the time our food comes, we are still unable to pay our bill due to servers being down, and yet they were still seating people they knew would be unable to pay for their food. In all, we spent around 3 hours at this restaurant. When we requested a manager to help us out so we could leave, she copped an attitude, saying “I guess I’ll just eat all this food then”, as if the food wasn’t terrible in the first place. In the end, the manager was upset that we had mentioned that keeping us here any longer would be questionable on legal grounds, she told us to just go. Waitress was amazing and was very understanding of our disappointment. She had tried numerous times to get management for us and other tables, but they were no where to be found. All of this could have been avoided had management told people upfront, before seating, that they would not be able to process cards. Horrible management and inedible food. Typing this out at a sheetz, as it’s the only place to actually get food now that we have been released from...
Read moreTexas Roadhouse, not to be confused by the other chain of a similar name, is an experience all it's own. Reservations are somewhat pointless: My wife, daughter, mother and father in-law, as well as myself, came here with reservations for a table. Reservation was at 5pm, we were seated a little after 6pm. After seating, another 15 minutes for ordering, another 30 minutes for salad and appetizer, then 20 minutes for entree. All the food was cooked very well and the server was outstanding with staying on top of refilling our glass. Atmosphere: The decor is nice, set in a hybrid style between a biker bar, log cabin and retro wild west saloon. Seating during our visit came in close quarters to other tables, reminding me of flying on coach in the middle seat in the middle row. The servers are very pleasant and if you're into Country music, you will boot scoot boogy yourself into happiness. Warning: If you have small children or infants, I don't recommend this location for two reasons. (1). The music can become very loud at times, especially when the Texas Roadhouse theme song comes on. They turn the music up a few decibels and staff stop what they are doing and clap along like some they've experienced some sort of hypnosis and that song as a trigger. (2). Though it is possible to catch this location when it's not as busy, due to the closeness of some seating arrangements, it's far to easy for small children to gain access to things they shouldn't and for other things from passerbys to be...
