Bishop's Eastside Pub & Grill — Restaurant in Huntsville

Not a great first experience. Atmosphere and decor was good, what you would expect. Much bigger inside than it appears from the outside. They were doing trivia (every Tuesday at 7 pm apparently). I had a take out order that was supposed to be ready in 25 minutes. It took an hour and i didn't feel the staff were much concerned. There were only 2 people outside the kitchen (the bartender and a server) who were very busy but i didn't notice a lot of food coming out of the kitchen. After greating me initially and telling me that my food wasn't quite ready, i was ignored until i walked to the kitchen window to find out what the delay was about. Never got an answer to that, just a casual, "sorry about that". Part of the order was missing, had to wait on that a little longer. Then when i got home i found that the celery and salad were both brown (see picture). Would i give them another chance? Maybe. But if the second time goes anything like the first, it'll...

The waitress completely ignored us for at least 7-10 minutes. During this time we listened to music someone had played on the jukebox. When the music finished we downloaded the app and played music ourselves. l guess they didn’t like the music we picked because when the first song started, they turned the music down. We asked our waitress about it and she said maybe the speakers broke. The second song started and the music was turned down so low you couldn’t hear it. We asked the bartender and she said she would turn it up, but she never did. How do you have a music system that requires your patrons to pay for it but then your staff vetoes the music by turning it down. Wasted money. Really liked it here. The karaoke was great with DJ Heath. Got ready to go last Saturday and found out karaoke was suspended. Alot of my friends have called and said it was bad enough they cut out singing and the dancers had been so complimentary of DJ Heath and have been contacting him and asking why. It saddens me to think they have contacted him asking where else he's at. I know he was happy there and did all he could for bishops and the people that supported him. I wish the best...
