I've never written a resturant review anywhere before this. I ate there two weeks ago right before they closed. My experience was lovely. The 2 girls that served were wonderful and helpful as it was my 1st time there. So good I slipped each of them $5 as a tip. I couldn't wait to go back and did about 2 weeks later. The service was awful. The surly young woman who served me had a terrible attitude. I asked for fresh taziki sauce and was informed what was in the bin was good enough. I let it slide and got it. They were out of almost everything for toppings and fairly low on proteins. She was most impatient with me but when I asked if they had any pickles in the back as they were totally out... oh my goodness. She then informed me they were making them and it would be at least an hour wait if not more. I was absolutely incredulous with what she was saying. I asked her if she meant literally making them in the back? Yup, she said. I knew she was lying. So, I came back an hour later and another nice young woman helped me. The pickle bin was full. I asked how long it took to make them and she looked at me like I was crazy. I told her what had happened earlier. She said they just have to cut them up and they don't make them there. Of course they don't. With the exception of that nice young woman the service I received was just awful. I got there at 2 pm. Plenty of time to refill everything from the lunch crowd. The pitas I got were unbelievably stale. The service area was dirty and unkempt. I was very hungry and ate half of my bowl saving the rest for later. I should have known better. I spent a restless night and without sounding too graphic lost every bit of what I'd consumed this morning. I will never go back. CAVA do better!! I'm appalled at this mess in Huntsville. Read your reviews. I was going to talk to the manager however, I've read on here it won't matter. Oh yes, they were out of several specialty drinks too. What has happened to the youth of America and their unwillingness to please a customer. The entire experience could have been avoided if she had simply cared for her job instead of just wanting...
Read moreI don’t usually post reviews..unless I have to. Cava was great initially, but has been incredibly inconsistent the past few times my husband and I have been there. The portion sizes are VERY low for what you pay..I am shocked by some of the photos where it looks like a full bowl. I do order takeout, so maybe the people doing that run things differently than those walking in and staying. Sometimes the orders get mixed up..missing items, a dip you didn’t order..we joke almost every time with what will be incorrect with our order “this time”. Also..the food is always freezing cold, even if they just brought it out. Cold falafel and bread is pretty gross..today, was a new experience. The food amounts/items looked correct, so I was pleased…I got home and unpacked it (my portion was small, as usual, I ordered extra everything (paid even more) for my husband’s, so it was filled up) and when I got to the bread, I noticed green specks…I thought maybe something splashed it, but they were everywhere on it and convincingly looked like mold. I got my husband’s eyes on it and we both couldn’t verify that it was a splatter because it had a lot of bread mold properties. I had to toss it…so, I am eating my bowl when all the sudden, something gets stuck between my teeth. It was hard feeling, unlike food, which led to me pulling it out….It was quite hard and bendy, making it appear like a small string of plastic or even a leg of something. Needless to say, I felt quite sick after seeing that and would hesitate to ever eat here again. Cava has potential to be great, but needs consistency and quality control. Watch...
Read moreBackstory This was yesterday 4/24/25 ! My coworker and I were super hungry and it was almost time for her break. She asked me did I want something? I asked her where she was going, and she said Cava. We work at the hospital right around the corner and I told her give me a chance to look at the menu. She said she didn’t have time so I said fine.
Surprisingly, she came back and like 15 minutes and I was like let me see what you got. It looked amazing.. I said to her, they must not be busy since she came back so fast and she was like no they’re really quick at this place. In my mind, I figured she had to either do a mobile order or Call it in.
I had to try it so she gave me the address and I went, oh my God this food was delicious. Everything was super fresh, but the topping on my bowl was the young lady that assisted me. (Marquita) She was full of laughs and her smile was contagious.. I told her it was my first time eating CAVA , and I was a CAVA VIRGIN, That made her laugh!!!!! Trying to even the joke score!!!!!
Anyway, she walked me through everything and had to explain most items since I had never been there. She made everything sound so good even said after fixing my bowl , her stomach started to growl because my selection looked so good lol…
I must say everyone was super polite and I’ll be back at least twice a week. Thanks for...
