El Tapatio #2 — Restaurant in Huntsville

Food was incorrect. We called back up after the three minute drive getting home and got the most nonchalant response to the food is wrong. Get told they can't remake it because they're out of beef and not making anymore. Which would have been fine if they let us know before they let us order, charged us for them, and just gave us the cheaper crap they had on hand. Waste of time, waste of money, waste of gas for dishonesty and the worst fatty chicken taco I've ever accidently bitten into.

Edited to add: my partner went back up there because the cashier told him he could get a refund for the INCORRECT FOOD and that she'd be willing to pay for it out of her own pay (which we wouldn't ask or can legally do). When he got up there she was RUSHING to her car and told him to go inside and he'd get the refund. Gets inside, in broken English is then told he can't actually be refunded but he can go back tomorrow for the correct order to be made. My experience was down right horrible this morning. Ordered 1 breakfast taco and 1 pupusa the young man told me park in front of the building he'll bring it out. Understand there was a car behind me. Well I sit there saw the vehicle that was behind me pull off so I circled back around to the drive through because I had been waiting 20 minutes. Look like the owner was at the window I tell here what happened and she had the audacity to make it an issue like where were you type of crap when she knew darn well no one came out to bring me my order because I was looking. Then ask me if I paid for it. So now you insult me when you know customers has to pay before leaving the window. Are you serious ma'am. To top it off the young man shorted me my change i gave you $8 on a $6.54 order so you do the math. I had a meeting this morning was rushing to get out of there didn't realize he shorted me. No food, long wait and shorted me my money. No apology at all....

I’ve been going here for months and I get the SAME EXACT thing EVERY SINGLE TIME. Recently , the past 6 or so times I’ve gone, they tell me a different price every single time. Sometimes it’s $22, sometimes it’s $25, but today they told me it was $28. I LITERALLY CAME HERE YESTERDAY AND I ONLY PAID $25!!!!! So when I ask why is it more money, they tell me that the price has increased weeks ago. I tried to give the benefit of the doubt to this place because the food truly is good, but please listen to other reviews that tell you this place is trying to scam you out your money. I also called to get a price on everything I got, and the person on the phone literally told me that my meal should cost $23. If there’s one thing I don’t play about, it’s my money!
