Bubbles Wash House — Local services in Huntsville

Changing it to 1 star. MIKE is the guys name. My sons arrived tonight 9/7/25 at 11pm (facility closes at midnight) he made a call to his brother whom he was to pick up from work, to inform him he was placing the laundry in the dryer there and would be on his way to get him. He walked up to the doors at 11:12 and the guy MIKE said "we're closed". Even though last Sunday we were there at this time with no issue. My sons proceeded to call me to inform me of this, so I call and the man said "last wash is at 11pm". I said well my sons aren't washing they are only drying. Well I thought they were washing so I told them we were closed, he said. My son said he went to look again and there was now a closed sign in the door. I have pictures but it wont let me upload them. Even with it stating they close at midnight, my sons being there at 11 to dry, he refused them service. They were not rude, disrespectful or anything. Now one sons school clothes for Tomorrow are soaking wet and the others work clothes are wet. Thank you for your "Christian " services. Not exactly how I feel people should be treated. Please do not put business hours close at midnight if your employees plan to lock the doors and refuse customers at 11pm. ONE HOUR before closing.

So I want to start by saying this is a very nice wash place. Clean and respectful. So, by saying that, and knowing the expectations the owner has, I was quite disappointed last Sunday night as I brought my kids here to dry. One of the workers, possibly Hispanic male, heavy set with large mid section(i only describe so the owner knows which employee it was) Bald and older, wears a back pack. Was outside with 2 women (customers) smoking right by the doors. As I am unloading my laundry from the dryer, the laundry mat quickly filled with the heavy smell of cigarettes. I was immediately disgusted and chose to leave. The women outside, one of which looked to be 9 months pregnant, continued smoking with said gentleman. If this was any other of the wash houses where I can expect filth, smells of such, and a disrespectful atmosphere, then I would have no reason to complain. But, being that ive only had great experiences here and have heard how the owner runs his establishment, I felt it was needed.

EDIT: Im not sure who 1st responded to my review saying it was false,that I needed to change my review and that the gentleman showed me his hand to show he wasnt smoking?I never spoke to said gentleman. Also stating there were 2 employees there that night? No. There was only one. It was around 10 or 11 I believe. And also stating there was only 1 woman outside? No. There were 2 females and they left their children in the car. I also have my witnesses. I have no reason to leave a poor review and lie. I have only had pleasant experiences here. Y'all! I cannot say enough wonderful things about this place! I was in town doing prison ministry when I realized I needed a laundromat. It was 9:00 at night I used Google Maps to find the nearest laundromat. By God's grace it led me here to Bubbles Wash House!! It was late and I was expecting a dark seedy place, but when I pulled up it was lit up bright and very welcoming! There were young college students everywhere working on different projects while waiting for their clothes! The kicker for me was that Christian music was blasting over the speakers and the young lady working (Madison) was amazing! She was SO helpful! She walked me through the process of how to use their machines. She even helped me to sign up for the app's loyalty program which paid for my first wash & dry! Completely free! The app even tells you which washer & dryers are available to use. Then it tells you how much time is left on your wash or dry! It even sends you a text or email reminder at 3 minutes (if you choose the setting) to know when it's finished!! The machines are all brand new and high quality. I come to Huntsville to do prison ministry twice a year every year. They have earned a customer for life!

It was such a blessing to need their services!

They even have a nice sitting area with wonderful Christian books to read while waiting!

Don't forget the soda & vending machines!

This laundromat is definitely 5 stars! Our dryer at home broke and we went to Bubbles Wash House to do our laundry several times. We were pleased to see the kind helpful manager on-site who walked us through the entire process. He was there with a cart to help us unload the 5 baskets full of laundry we brought with us! He then cheerfully showed us the Speed Queen app and assisted us with purchasing credits so we could use the machines. For every $20 you load on the app. you receive an additional $2.50! There are several different size washers and dryers so that you can do as big or as small of a load as you need. The machines were very affordable and efficient. You only use half of the laundry soap you would use at home. There were plenty of carts and tables to use, as well as a nice clean bathroom for customers. They were very kind to my daughter and me. They even let her build a fort while the laundry was being washed. I would highly recommend Bubbles Wash House to anyone. There is no place in town as nice as this for your laundry needs.
