The dining room is sparse and it's takeout only. Nice folks, very funny. We had a nice conversation where I learned Mondays were there slow days and they make less food than other days so you may not get the full menu. There was no ox tail, they ran out of Rasta Pasta, and if you want to get the fish, you should order ahead because it's cooked to order and takes a long time. I asked about a few things and let them know that I liked my food spicy, and asked for half curry chicken and half jerk chicken. I think the worst of it was not getting what I asked for. They gave me a full order of jerk chicken, didn't make it spicy, and there was no peas. There was a sweet ketchup based sauce on the chicken and while the sauce was addicting, I didn't want my chicken bathed in it. There was zero spice even though they said they would make it spicy for me, and I ended up adding peppers to it at home. The drums were juicy, but the other pieces were dry and all of it seemed like it sat in a warmer too long. I think it would have been drier if it wasn't drowning in that sauce. The rice and cabbage is some of the best I've had at a Jamaican restaurant, and the reason they got the 4th star. And as with any Jamaican restaurant, enough rice to feed you for several meals. The plantains were good. I'll probably come back again and give the fish a try, annoyed that I didn't get what I ordered but eh~. It's not exactly convenient for me, and not being able to eat it in house while it's fresh and hot is a minus for me.

I feel lucky to have found this place. If you have not had a chance to experience island food, today is your lucky day. A hidden gem tucked away in the corner of this plaza, it is a welcome space for good food. Walk up or drive up, there is ample space for you to drop in and pickup food. The place is not too crowded and service is quick. And The menu? Everything you can think of served up with love - oxtail, snapper, curry goat along with various styles of chicken: curry chicken, jerk chicken and more sees up with your choice of rice. Not to be left out, the store serves up a couple of veggie platters with cabbage or vegetarian meat substitutes. Of course always with plantain and other sides. Drinks - you have your choice. Service- welcoming and accommodative. I would recommend if you have not yet had your plate, why not head that way today. Your taste buds will thank you!

Wow, I wish I had discovered this place sooner! It would have saved me from a less enjoyable dining experience I had before finding this gem. The service was top-notch, and I couldn’t be happier with the food—it was delicious! I was a bit indecisive between the brown stew and the jerk chicken, but the friendly staff suggested I try half of each, which turned out to be a perfect idea. I also ordered the rasta pasta; while it was a tad overcooked, the flavors were fantastic. My total came to $23 before the tip. I couldn’t resist coming back on Friday before heading home, but instead of the whole fried snapper, I ended up going for the incredibly delicious and super tender jerk chicken again! Can’t wait to return!
