Lone Goose Saloon — Restaurant in Huntsville

I've been coming to Lone Goose for about 4 years now and it has always been my favorite bar in Huntsville due to to relaxed atmosphere and great music they have. The past few times have almost completely turned me off to this place at this point. Every time I go the bartenders are ridiculously slow and it takes forever to get a drink even when the bar isn't that busy. The last time I went, after sitting at the bar for 10 minutes of waiting I finally got served. I handed the bartender $20 and she gave back about $2 worth of change. I exclaimed I gave her a $20 bill and she insisted I only gave her $5. I had to sit there and argue with her in front of everyone when she went to the register and then found my $20. She held it up in acknowledgement, then shoved the rest of my change in my hand very rudely without...

Lone Goose is my favorite bar! My friends and I call it our "safe bar" because the environment really does just feel very safe, not too wild, and has a decent crowd.

We love that there is outdoor seating in addition to the inside space, you can play music over the speakers like in most bars, and karaoke is hosted every Wednesday!

There's also a pool table, very friendly bartenders, and surprisingly affordable drinks. Something else that's a plus, in my personal opinion, is that it doesn't smell like smoke in there! Smoking is only allowed outside.

I work in the restaurant service industry. Although the locals which visit this bar make for an entertaining night, the staff are consistently rude and don't care about anything but collecting your money. I have been routinely surprised by the lack of professionalism coming from the staff. I understand they regularly interact with rude and intoxicated customers, but this does not give one free license to insult and power trip over the other customers.
