Horrible service and horrible food. I don’t like to leave bad reviews and can generally overlook bad service or bad food if one outweighs the other in a positive way, but this place has both in the worst way. We spent over $150 on various orders of plates and pounds of bbq to go. The service was lacking in professionalism and courtesy. There was a nice redhead manning the cashier, but she seemed new and not to know a lot as she failed to mention there is an extra fee when you pay with cards, yes even a debit card. They also charge extra for paper plates, despite the volume of food we ordered. Then there was a second blonde who had the worst attitude you can imagine at 11 am, yet the restaurant had just opened at 10:30 am. We had to wait for our to go order, which wasn’t a problem, but had different questions/comments throughout the waiting period, to try and make their lives easier. For example, we saw the rude blonde packaging a large order, thinking it was ours we inquired and commented that we’d like to check it before she puts it in the bag. Without even looking at us, she just says no, and keeps walking. We clarified trying to see if she meant no, it’s not our order, or no we can’t look, but she just flatly responded “it’s not yours.” Fast forward 10 min she’s loading a bag with tons of plastic silverware, we go to let her know that when it comes time for ours we won’t need any. Again just trying to make their lives easier. She responds, “I have an order for 100 people I’m packing.” I tell her, “that’s fine, I just wanted to make y’all’s life easier,” and she just repeated herself frustrated. I’ve worked in the food industry before so I know it gets frustrating, but the energy she was putting was just downright rude and uncalled for. This restaurant needs to do better in training their people on customer service. We finally get our order, and have to unpack it to check it (because she didn’t heed our request) and decide we would like some silverware after all. We ask a separate gentleman and he dismissively points us to some loose plastic silverware. We know they have packaged silverware so we ask for that and he tells us that’s only for package order, you just ordered by the pound. We couldn’t believe it. No, napkins, no plates, and no silverware on such a large order. We just resigned ourselves and left. Then we finally get to eating the food, and it’s all horrible. Dry, bland, and just not good. Save yourself the trouble and stop at Buc-ee’s or literally anywhere else for bbq. This place needs to pick a struggle, because they shouldn’t have both bad food and bad service. March 30 2022 HORRIBLE!!!!! they gave us burned tenders that were overcooked and to make matters worse the grease was definitely old. The tenders had that horrible smell of old grease!!!!! So we call them to tell them, they said they would remake them u get there they didn't even try to remake them. They're went Dinner before work. Won't be back for a while. So disappointed.

6/2020 Fry's we're almost raw, the tenders in the kids meal were chewy not fully cooked and the burger had a little pink in it. Won't be back for a while. Sloppy joe and mac were good.

12/19 Food was fresh and very good. The queso is thin but actually really good!!!!

5/19 Had the burger and chips special. Burger was perfectly cooked and the free beans were great. Still not a fan of they're BBQ except they're sloppy joes.

2/18 Foods getting better. Burger, tenders and sloppy joe was really good. Don't understand why the cashier both times have been VERY RUDE...

11/18 ok im done, Burger was raw again and after saying well done. Have had this same issue 2 other times. Well not be ordering again

Nov 2017- ordered Chicken fried steak burger, Wow was shocked, Amazing!!!!!! Great flavor, great taste!!!!!!

So I added 1 more star, went back last week and the food was amazing, Just wish the cooks would hey together and work together because they're eather great or terrible.

Well I went back a couple more times, got 2 stars for 2 times being good then the other three disappointed. They're issue is consistency. Sometimes OK then otherwise just bad no flavor food. Definitely will not return.

The cashier was super nice. Ordered onion rings, grilled chicken w/cheese and pickle only, and cheese burger w/fries. They made my chicken sandwich all the way burger was cold and bread was soggy and not edible. Well never get...

I really wanted to like this place but unfortunately the food just wasn’t up to Goode Texas barbecue standards. The brisket was dry and bland. It’s as if it was missing all the seasoning the bark on it wasn’t very deep into the meat the sauce jalapeño sausage, although spicy and fairy flavorful was extremely dry. The Poboy, which is a combination of their brisket and sausage, chopped up, finally was dry. Ended up using a lot of the spicy barbecue in order to make the brisket and poor boy more palatable.

The positive is that the staff are friendly and nice. The location has a great atmosphere although feels dated. It hasn’t been updated and feels a little neglected.

The men’s bathroom is disappointing. There was a large puddle of water. Didn’t know couldn’t tell where is coming from.

I’d pass on this location as I know that there’s much better barbecue around the area.
