I can't say enough about how incredible the experience is at Olde Towne Coffee is. From the quaint settings, the historic location, and the eclectic crew, Olde Towne is the perfect desination for homegrowns to transplants.
The first thing you'll notice is the outdoor environment. Seemingly keeping the Pratt Ave/Five Points bustle at bay, while providing a quiet that's not suffocating. They have several outdoor seating areas to accommodate the quick brunch date or finishing that book your reading.
Once inside a bevy of styles can be found along all the walls. The furniture and decorations really cement the classic coffee shop vibe. Olde Towne's staff has also done an amazing job to comply with local and state Covid standards. (That are in place at the time of this review). The team is able to serve patrons safely with their ingenious setup.
With a variety of menu items Olde Towne is a great place for a quick bite, or mid day snack. There's plenty of options on display as you walk in. Some even provided by local bakeries with is a great boon to our wonderful city.
The main reason to go, coffee, is second to none. With a dozen different beans from around the world you can often come in when they're roasting them on location and enjoy the aroma. There's even special blends Olde Towne has concocted themselves giving even more choices for your java fix.
All in all Olde Towne Coffee is a great place to visit, or take your out of town friends to so they can enjoy Huntsville's special coffee shop experience. I've always love stopping by and being greeted by the friendly baristas that build such an...

I'll be leaving my previous reviews because they provide important context. I've been frequenting this place for coffee and breakfast for years. I've brought locals and tourists alike here because I thought this was a business that operated with inclusivity and kindness. I thought this was a business that treated its employees well.
Then I found out that an employee was recently fired because their look wouldn't appeal to the new types of people the city is trying to attract. Luckily, the staff supported the employee so if you are in a position to hire employees at your own coffee shop, I hope you'll recognise years at Olde Towne which recently ended is a badge of honour.
Original review:
The first time you go you'll need a local guide or Google maps cuz it's really easy to miss. Beans are roasted daily in-house and you can smell them from the parking lot, its amazing. You know a place is worth it when they have good decaf and even that is spectacular.
Covid compliant, clean, well ventilated, handicap accessible
2023 Edit: as long as I've been coming here I've been getting amazing service. Not only from the owner but from everyone on the staff. Often businesses will try to sell you what's most expensive but I've consistently gotten sales recommendations for cheaper items simply because they were what was right for me and such custom tailored service is worth its weight in gold.
Food is also freshly made to order and delicious. Not a lot of places offer pimento cheese but Olde Towne Coffee does, and will add it to whatever you...
Read moreMy husband drove the long way through Alabama to show me this coffee shop. My late sister took him here and he knows my obsession with good coffee. They did not disappoint. Upon walking in I was greeted by the most delicious smelling fresh coffee and knew immediately that I wanted to try their best in its purest form, espresso. The shot was pulled to such perfection that the crema on top was so delightfully and artfully displayed. I tasted the nutty golden goodness and poured the rest into my chai. Then proceeded to scrape out every drop of liquid ambrosia from the shot glass.
Lately chai has been disappointing in many coffee shops and I found myself giving up on a good one, this was a different story. This is the best chai I have had in a LONGGGGG time.
I’m also weird and wanted a little adjustment made to mine, I won’t divulge their secret because she went the extra mile for it, but I really think they need to add this baristas brilliant “chemist” experiment to the menu. She nailed my craving !
Thank you Olde Towne for keeping the coffee game strong and making the extra 45 minutes on the road...
