I visited at lunch. I ordered General Tsao's Chicken with fried rice, Hot & Sour Soup and an egg roll. The food was fresh and hot. the fried rice had a tad too much onion in it for my taste, but the pieces were big enough to easily move out. The egg roll was crispy and flavorful, one of the best I've had. The filling was cooked, but still a little crunchy, just perfect. (Most places tend to overcook them and leave the filling mushy.) The dish I ordered was chicken. Be aware that if you order a meat dish, that's exactly what you will get - meat. There were only two pieces of steamed broccoli on my plate. I'm sure they would add more on request, if you prefer more vegetables with your dish.
The portion size was plenty, even for lunch. The price was very reasonable.
They also hand-roll sushi to order. I saw this happen as I ate. The sushi station is in plain view, which is nice to be able to see that your food is made...
Read moreThis was not what we expected of a restaurant with such great reviews. I've had much better food at Panda Express, honestly. This was just disappointing, and quite gross, in fact.
We considered leaving after receiving our drinks. Why? The water tasted like fish. The iced tea tasted like fish.
The egg drop soup did not smell or taste great. Again, fishy. The orange chicken had so much breading that it was hard to chew. I suspect it was freezer burned. The woman making the sushi was coughing over the rolls she was making, of which we ordered two rolls unfortunately. The rolls were small and one was covered in an abundance of sesame seeds. The fried tofu was mediocre. The fried rice had about three onions and two peas.
I don't know where the rest of you have been eating, but it sounds nothing like this place. What a waste of money. We didn't even eat half of our food. We're nervous about getting...
Read moreCame into Panda Express thinking oh yaaa orange chicken. Then come to find out it’s not a Panda Express, but it’s own place. Which made me happier. I haven’t found lemon chicken anywhere, they had it. I got that , egg drop soup, & 2 egg rolls. Cost me a little over $25. The egg rolls were light & crispy. The soup was delicious with the crispies. The lemon chicken was good, a big serving. But the lemon sauce seemed a more honey sauce with a hint of lemon. Good though, a bit sweet. And very, very sticky. I barely touched the container & the stickiness was everywhere! Even places I swear I didn’t touch! I will be back, the food was so so good! You know when you have food from somewhere & others see & say “ from such & such? Ya they have good food!” I got that a lot when I ate this at work. So yes...
