So I just moved to Alabama, but I've been going to Starbucks every day for 2 years now. Ordering the same drink every day. My drink is heaven in a cup. But since coming to Alabama I've either ran into Starbucks dot refuse to make my drink correctly and then get upset with me. Because I ask for it to be done correctly. Or like today I walk in, I say thank you. Have a nice day. I try being as polite as possible. Smile on my face and it was. Received with complete ignorance, not even a smile. I just can't believe how unfriendly Starbucks are in the state. Because I know the Starbucks. I went to in my Hometown. I took these girls flowers to say thank you occasionally because of how great they were at welcoming you getting your drink right? And if they messed it up, they were more than happy to fix it. Out here. You're just treated like a burden. And it's to the point I don't even want to drink coffee anymore and that's not fair. So maybe Starbucks needs to look into hiring. Positive upbeat people to work in their facilities, instead of rude individuals. That act like you're a...
Read moreAs a longtime Starbucks customer, I was shocked to see a massive Pride flag hung directly behind the register. I’ve never seen an American flag or even a state flag displayed like that, so I don’t understand why this particular symbol is being pushed so prominently.
In my opinion, this kind of display feels less about inclusion and more like zealotry — forcing a political or ideological statement onto every customer who walks in. If any religion were pushed this aggressively, people would call it out immediately. Yet here we are, with a symbol elevated in a way that feels more divisive than unifying, especially on a day when another tragic school shooting tied to this community has just taken place.
I’m not anti-any sexuality; I’m pro-everyone. But Starbucks should be a place for coffee, not politics or ideology. If you want to fly a flag, why not the American flag or the Alabama state flag — symbols that represent us all? Until then, I’ll take my business elsewhere..... And I used to come to the Starbucks in this city very, very often, no more... This is...
Read moreVictor was incredibly rude when I asked for a refund. After waiting 15 minutes in the drive thru with only one car ahead of me on a Sunday evening we discovered (through the window) that they had completely disregarded our request for no whipped cream. I went in and asked for a refund. Instead of respectfully providing a peaceful transaction, Victor removed the sticker and attempted to give it back to me. No thanks. While refunding my money he berated me for knocking on the window to attempt to get their attention for the drink with whipped cream to be remade while we waited for our 1 other drink. He said, "Beating on the window is unacceptable. We're all very busy! Don't do that again." Run the cameras back! Slow and rude service is unacceptable to me. But, what else should I expect from the likes of someone with a fully exposed dirty beard handling food. 🤷🏾♀️ He also yelled, "Don't ever come back!. " Why, Victor, would I ever come back? You suck and so does most of your team excluding the one crew member that apologized for our first 10...
