Zaxbys Chicken Fingers & Buffalo Wings — Restaurant in Huntsville

I ordered the promotion and advised Charles that I needed both Big Zax Snax to be immediately out the fryer since it was carry out. Rakel brings me the order in 4 minutes. When I relayed the same thing to her, she took the food to the window, spoke with one of the cooks and brought me back the same bag asking me if I wanted them to make it over.

That's when I became upset b/c now it was unnecessary wasted time. I advised her that I work in food service, I know the lingo but if the chicken or fries had just come out if the fryer, they would be greasy. This amused her and pushed to request the manager on duty.

He looked busy, irritated, and appeared not to care. He brought me one Snax out the fryer and didn't address Rakel's attitude at all. I guess I had no right to make a special request. There was no thanking me for spending any money since I got something free. Customer service sure has changed. I ordered pickup at 10, and I guess that pissed them off bc this is the worst quality I've ever had from a zaxbys. I usually don't leave bad reviews but the food tonight was very much like me as a child, neglected. My husband got the new cheddar bacon ranch quesadilla, there was barely any cheese, the smallest drizzle of ranch, and very few bacon bits. The quesadilla was not heated properly and was basically raw, and thrown into the container like Kobe making a half court shot. The chicken finger meal came with fries that were obviously seasoned by the Caucasian persuasion (as a white woman i can tell from my own experiences) and the fries and toast were obviously left on the counter too long since they were colder than my heart after looking at this mess. Very disappointed in what I thought was supposed to be a better fast food chain. Gave an extra star bc the birthday shake...

I'd rate 5 stars if therewasn't such a STARK difference between the quality of food you get during the day vs at night. Whenever I come here during the day, my food is always fresh & piping hot. The loaded fries are always LOADED with cheese & ranch like they're supposed to be and the container is filled up! The loaded fries are my absolute FAVORITE fast food "meal" to get - by far - because of how good the daytime crew makes them! 10/10 every single time. However, every time I've been here after 5pm-ish, the workers put significantly less food in the container & I'm lucky if they put more than a slight drizzle of ranch on top. Plus the cheese is never melted bc the food is always too cold to melt it :( The lack of consistency is very disappointing especially considering how expensive Zaxby's is.
